Why do all Thai escorts have that tattoo. Normally on their shoulder it looks like a temple or some kind of stairs. Is it a gang or something. Just wondering

Often are small Sak Yant tattoos which depending on the style/artist etc offer varying levels of protection/blessing etc. Some monks have reached celeb status off the back of them.

And then some are just tats…..

Watching programme about the tebori method of tattooing in Japan..
Very intriguing programme..
But these tattoos were artful intricate.. not the tacky tasteless rubbish.

They are Buddhist religious tattoos.
