Around pages 32 & 33 of: https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=76000.1550 , spuzz99 drew attention to an Escort - External Link/Members Only - who, despite having made at least one porn film, said on her Profile page that she didn't offer Bareback escort services.

I commented that this sounded like 'Prossie logic';  not joining up the dots between barebacking in a film being the same as barebacking as an Escort, implyng that barebacking in a film 'didn't really count' as barebacking!

A couple of posts further on, ianchar14 posed the question:

It's still BB but I wouldn't automatically blacklist her, it's a personal choice and every punt is a potential risk we just try as hard as possible to mitigate the risk with careful selection and research. I presume all of us will have had unprotected sex with somebody at some point in our lives, I think we can just about guarantee that any WG has also had unprotected sex with somebody at some point, if she's currently working in the porn industry than the question is different to if she has previously appeared in a porn film.

Agreed. I too see 3 girls more frequently than others. As far as I know they dont have boyfriends, they would like BF's but I wouldnt expect them to be using a mac if they had.  That would be a totally unrealistic expectation on my part.

If they are doing authentic porn films then both the escort & her partner(s) will have had recent tests (pre-requisite from most "Professional" porn producers).  And if the girl wants to have a career in porn films then she is very unlikely to BB with a punter or someone in private that she doesn't know because she doesn't want to run the risk of catching anything, having a negative test and then being blacklisted from doing future porn shoots.

Interesting topic. I've often thought of this. I regularly bang a hottie at a party provider who has done quite a lot of porn, including anal - all bareback of course. I know that it should be an issue for me, as I'm quite health conscious, but some part of me wants to rationalise it away with thoughts like "oh, she must be clean as she probably has regular tests done due to being in porn". Also, the concept of social proof comes into play - because lots of other guys are banging her at the party, then "it must be ok". Maybe I'm kidding myself. I don't know. I've always assumed that 100 percent of the wg's I've seen BB their partners, just as I do with mine, and I don't consider this the same risk as wg's who offer BB to punters.  Though to be fair, it may or may not be just as risky behaviour.

Of course for all I know any given wg could be BBing many civvys while still not offering BB to punters.

I always use a condom with wg's, get tested every three months, and beyond that, just hope that I stay lucky and free of STI's for as long as i continue to punt.

There is on this board an incessant obsession with bareback sex, whether it be ‘outing’ a WG who has discreetly given/offered such a service, identifying any WG who clearly and openly does offer such a service on her AW profile or flagging up the fact that she does perform BB sex in porn videos.

In the case of the latter, I suggest that virtually every performer in professional porn is very regularly tested and has an up-to-date certificate to prove it. Also, she will only perform with someone who is similarly certified. Her claim that she does not perform BB sex with punters is perfectly valid to my mind. Whether you choose to see such an SP in her WG role is a matter for your own judgement.

For anyone still struggling to understand the varying levels of concern regarding bb in a relationship vs bb in porn vs bb offered as a service, it's about mathematical risk. Without breaking down the numbers and getting too complicated:

- BB in a relationship between WG and boyfriend would usually mean only 2 people regularly having BB sex with each other. Possibly up the numbers a bit if one of them likes to have something else going on the side. = Fewest different people involved, lowest risk.

- WG that does BB in porn. More different BB partners, but as has been mentioned in professional productions all actors would be expected to have verified recent clean tests. = More different people involved so higher risk, mitigated somewhat by regular testing.

- BB service providers having BB sex with multiple different clients every day. Clients that are likely to actively seek out other BB service providers, who are also having regular unprotected sex with each of their clients. Resulting in a potential network of multiple BB partners who could be carrying an infection from a recent encounter, even if they are getting tested regularly = A large volume of individuals each engaged in unprotected sex with multiple partners, extreme levels of risk.

Even in civvie life I've always been careful about using protection outside of a relationship (on the rare occasions that happens). The top two examples don't feel more risky than the chances you might take meeting someone in a bar, you can't control where they've been before you. I like OWO, there's still a risk of contracting something that way but it is much lower than from unprotected penetration. Even so, I wouldn't risk sticking my cock in the mouth of someone that I know is exponentially more likely to carrying an infection because of their regular risky behaviour.

It's just maths and a bit of common sense.  (Still wasn't as brief a post as I had intended when I started typing  )
