Calling and texting these numbers..

im a nervous guy.. keen to experience my first punt and yes I have a gf and no she doesn't know about it.. my worry is using my phone to call or text these numbers on AW, am i safe to do so? i cant imagine they would text me after ive finished my booking but i worry all the same. does anyone else have these fears? any work arounds? or do i just bite the bullet?

Get a punting phone. Cheap one with a PAYG sim. If discovered, just say it's an emergency one for the car or something. I'm sure members of longer standing will advise of other phone options

You should either have a second phone, a punting phone, or a second sim. Most phones are dual sim nowadays so you could have a second sim in your phone and just disable the sim after use so you don't get notifications from text and calls as its switched off.

The second sim method does require texts and call logs to be deleted routinely but doesn't rouse suspicion of a second phone being in your possession if caught.

Cheap punting phone not connected to you.
When I first started I used my own iPhone for first couple which turned out to be deadly as I had a text one day from a missed punt saying “ still want to fuck bby”, could have been caught out by that.
Also the texts went to my iPad so one day when turning it on I suddenly noticed the wonder Giulia had left her address and asked it I was white, English lol.

AND important when you have got the punting phone..

CLEAR OUT ALL CALLS and texts relating to the punt even where it says txts delivered and all that. If it might fall inot enemy hands then you arent lilely to be runbled. You can put a few numbers in there like a local garage one that you DO NOT go to and th AA or RAC thats also untracable.. Check it from time to time incase some silly bint has texted you!.. And LOCK IT!!

Don’t bother with a punting phone, get an app like “text me” or “hushed”. It simulates a second number (for a small cost)

if you've got an old phone at the back of a drawer that could also be repurposed, that way if it is ever found then no suspicions will be raised. 

Best system I have found is set up a punting phone with punting sim, and a new punting email address, that way you can keep your secret life totally seperate.  Just make sure never to call your own phone, or log into facebook or any other app with your real details from your punting phone. 

I have a punting email, punting phone, also got a 2nd hand smart phone from CEX so I have a punting whatsapp and kik, all accounts seperate from my real life accounts, very important not to have any overlap. 

My current punting phone is a nokia C200, so cheap that i wouldnt care if I lost it or got pick pocketed on a punt

Good olde Nooky'as got one found the bloody thing near a girls punting flat!, always wondered if it belonged to anyone here! Never did find any numbers in it apart from 4 quids worh of  call credit!..

Its fine for calls and texts, but a smartfone with mapping is sometimes a usefull thing, altough if i can i get the girls address before i leave home so some study on Google maps can be done first!..

I have another cheap phone. I use my genuine phone when going for a  legit massage. I went for one recently the lady is a proper massage therapist she is registered all the certficates on the wall of her premises in part of her massive house. She apparently gets a bit more intimate with regular clients but I was there for a massage.

Massage certainly hit the spot with my medical condition. I sent her a text saying how good it was and would arrange for a follow up appointment for another proper legit massage.

In the week after she has sent me a message ' Hi, hope you are doing well'. I'm not naive she is clearly wanting business but it's getting a bit annoying. So my advice would be use a burner phone.

But OP hasn't committed to  "The Hobby"  in any way (yet).   So a 2nd phone would be an unjustifiable expense at the moment.  Actually, tho, even for a one-off, a cheapo mob from a supermarket is a worthwhile investment.  Even a sim with credit really isn't that much.  Chalk it all up to one of life's experiences.

bit harsh, in this time of paranoia about our digital footprint it's fair to assume that quite a few newbie's are going to feel a little uneasy about using their own phone... that said there have been several  threads on this over the years and a quick search would have turned up an answer or two to the OPs question

Exactly. I’ve been punting for a little while now. I’ve not got a 2nd phone as I couldn’t justify it if I was caught with one. But I choose very carefully. Delete all messages straight away. All numbers deleted. My messages on my iPad have been disabled. My maps location services disabled. My satnav wiped routinely. If need be block any numbers till you know you can trust them enough not to text or ring.

Also just remembered... most phones nowadays have a preview message option which will display a good chunk of the message on the screen for all to see before opening. Disable that also.

I have an ages old BlackBerry Curve PAYG that I bought for around a tenner from either A*m*z*n or E*b*y  - it's that long ago I can't remember the exact details. OH was not very curious but I told her I needed a spare phone for work 'just in case'.

Guessing by your review history this wasnt in Aberdeen, I had a Nokia for my punting phone until I lost it at / after a meet, so just got a second SIM for my phone instead... I had it locked with 372678 as the password - 'escort' in old number-pad-predictive-text-speak. Yes I am that sad.

Be careful using your regular phone. Last Saturday morning I had a WG text me that she is back working & had a girlfriend available for a threesome, while my girlfriend was asleep next to me. Luckily my girlfriend was fast asleep , I quickly deleted the text.

Some of these WGs dont respect your privacy & will text your randomly. Be careful out there.

The above is one reason but you're leaving yourself open to all sorts. Blackmail etc, it's happened before and will happen again.
