If you punt in the area you live in this is quite likely to happen. It's  no big deal if a WG sees you and you're  with someone  they will probably  ignore you and expect the same in return.

I don't punt in my home town for this exact reason. It's all well and good saying they'll probably ignore you but, as someone with a partner, what if they don't? Especially if on a night out and they've had a couple of drinks. Plus punting near to home raises the risk of being spotted going in or out of the punt.
