I am new to punting so apologies in advance for this might be a silly question. I created my AW profile and got interested in booking an escort. The AW booking form asks for your first and last names and also mentions at the bottom that she will require these details for hotel check in. Just wanted your experienced punter thoughts on this as of course I don't want to give out real details. Can the booking and hotel check in be with dummy name or this risk has to be taken?

Not a bad question.  I don't see this exactly in the 'new to punting' part of the wiki that tesla kindly posted.

The answer is
-never use your real name on aw (nor your UKP name)
-don't believe everything that they say on AW. You were right to check here (or the Puntingwiki)
-For hotel meets, it varies between incall and outcall.  For an incall (her hotel) she needs to tell you how to get to her room.  Sometimes you can go right up.  Sometimes she needs to meet you in reception.
-For outcall (your hotel) it is your 'duty' to create the plan.  I mostly book the room in my own name.  But I have never needed to give this to an escort. Nor will I.  I'd rather abandon the plan.  Like for an outcall, once in the hotel you should know if in fact she can just come up to the room or not.  Again, meeting in lobby is fairly common. (One time, I had to meet her in waterloo.  Insane, but was sort of fun. Had a nice sexy chat -off the clock- as we walked 15 minutes to my hotel.  I reviewed her but left out this detail since I didn't want her to know me.  Good times.)

personal experience, don't let the first contact be the booking form.  you should text/call/message the WG and arrange a time before filling the form.  Agree the in/out call etc and tell her your aw-id so she knows it's you.
I had one WG say I was creeping her out by requesting a booking, even though I was in contact with her through text and we arranged a time already.

Could you not just meet outside somewhere and come in together? Appreciate in some places the hotel may be quite remote but if its town/city based then it should be pretty straight forward and less like you're loitering.

Stayed in a premier inn recently and met with a female friend outside and came straight in together and up to my room, wasn't meeting for sex but the receptionist wouldn't have known either way or even if she was an escort or not, theres probably too many people staying there for them to care. I wouldn't be providing an escort with my full name and certainly not on a first meet!

If she wants payment before she enters your room, tell her to fuck off. Too much chance of her doing a runner with your money
