Author Topic: Adultwork - Aliases - Venting!!  (Read 894 times)

So I've just got back from an hour and a half round trip to see a very well known escort on Adultwork only to have her send me a text when I had just arrived at the hotel car park telling me that on my Adultwork booking I have 5 aliases and 2 or 3 logged into over the last few days and this is suspicious so she is cancelling.
I messaged her back and tried to call but no joy...…….

So here's what happened and please take note of the warning and how Adultwork seems to 'work'. I've been on the site for around 14 years I think and yes I have had several usernames but this is because I've been locked out of the old ones.
I think at least 2 of them I've fell foul of buying credits, using the option to input the last 4 digits of the card I've used before and obviously used another card by accident and it then throws you out and needs you to request an email verification to the email address you used to register.

I have two main email addresses I use - one ive had for years and the other is for spam and things like 'Compare the Market'. Both of those are registered with Adultwork but I don't know with what account and god knows what the passwords are. These are probably 14 year old ones.
The newer accounts I just made up new email addresses and used them solely for Adultwork, never really noted down a password and used it for the email address....so I just started again when this happens and remembered not to mess them up with the buying credits thing.

So my 'current one' Ive had about 6 years. I have 30+ verifications and all are good.
BUT its obviously linked to the old ones (which I didn't know) and clearly has a marker next to my username that escorts can see.

I would imagine Adultwork have linked them when I've bought credits (through card details or my name and address). Also through my punting phone when I have registered it with a profile. Its probably linked my I.P. address too when I log on.

I'm really pissed off anyway...…...I cannot do anything about the other accounts and am obviously going to have this problem or 'marker' on my profile which has caused me massive grief today so I am going to have to start new, change my I.P., grab a new SIM and once again set up a new email oh and not pay for credits by card.

Please be aware of what Adultwork is doing and how innocent things seem to go against you.

Andy

James 999 - It must do. I don't use any other usernames and have only been using the last one since I set it up. The escort told me about my 5 aliases in a text like I said.
It clearly IS linking my old ones that I cannot access.  :unknown:

Ask her what the aliases are, they won't be your old nics as they drop off after a few months

When you get the "trick" mentioned above remember NOT to put it in open forum  :hi:

I've got the information - many thanks to Midlandz_Boy88 and i'll give it a try.

I'm hoping that in the short term if I can book escort(s) and get feedback from them then it'll hopefully sort things and put others at ease. If I try to make a new profile (As I have done using the email address once registered with Adultwork that I've had for 14 years now......it still tells me that the email is already in use!!!) which it clearly isn't.

This is not true James999, I set up another AW account using different details, email account etc and a regular I was seeing at the time asked me why I had set up another account. As far as I am aware the accounts are still linked.

This is not true James999,

I can assure you it is, but no need to convince you, believe what you wish.

+1. It drops after 6 months. Of course it won't drop if you keep logging in to both using the same  device.

It might be a special case because the OP used the same card to purchase credits so they might've permanently linked those profiles. :unknown:

I have also been locked out of AW through lack of use or forgot the passwords. What is the best secure mail to use?, AW does not like yahoo mail, cheers Dog. :hi:
