What I think it is that when the police turn up on a raid they could make things difficult for the punter if they wanted to they do certainly take the punters name and addresses and search to see if there is any warrants out for that person, so they have your details.

I remember one girl told me her friend was involved in a police swoop in Essex a few years back and they made things very difficult for the punter took all his details wanted to know where his car was parked and took his reg and employment details and obviously took delight in trying to scare him and make him feel like a pervert, so even if they did not take him and arrest him they still kept him there intimidating him so that is still not a good experience to have.
