I've placed RB posts twice and overall the experience was positive but that might be because;
1. I chose city centre hotels as the venue so travel for the bidder was straightforward
2. It was a Ionger booking, overnight in fact
3. I didn't take the Mick with my rate. I took an average of fees of girls on my HL and was pleasantly surprised with the reductions some bids were from their published rates
4. I spent some time on the ad and tried to be clear on what I was looking for. In one case it was a concert, meal and overnight and again, I was surprised at the length of time some bids were prepared to commit to. By being clear on criteria, it's easy to disregard anyone that obviously didn't read them based on age, services, lifestyle etc
5. By the time of the second bid, I had positive feedback from other bookings.
As a result, I got more than a dozen bids each time from far and wide from bidders with varying volumes of feedback and prices. Some above, some below my rate. Those that took time on their bid made the first cut as you can see personality traits in their emails.
My only other advice would be not to leave either posting the RB or accepting bids til the last minute. It was almost an embarrassment of riches to have time to pick the best for my needs but in one case, a girl based in London, I left it too late to accept and she had other plans.
Overall, I agree with those that say you get to see options from further afield and outside the price range that you might otherwise. For the price of a coffee, it's worth it. There were some nutjob bids but they were very much the minority and easily spotted and ignored. EM
