We are on the same page on this
Other than changing 'often' to 'never'
I take two approaches
A/ where it turns out to be a fairly average to crap booking
You know once the magic door opens
In reality when / shortly after making the booking Its like pay exact & when they say like how long do you want [having requested an hour] you think TFFT
1/2 hour it is
With regards to me being generous, my take on this is me not walking
B/ where it is looking very very good
Say like the price is 90 for the hour
[i'm more into massage type stuff so a bit cheaper]
Rather than counting out tens i'll give five twentys
They look like they need to give change
& i make it clear not even worth thinking about
With a smile which virtually always means the same back
And now & again big eyes with a norty look
I have never had a bad return on the xtra
Quite the opposite
Interesting point, WP.
I always make sure I have a mixture of notes from £5 upwards in case extras need to be purchased. I once found, to my cost, that SP's often don't have the 'right change' available. Funny that.
Edit: just before making the booking
