Author Topic: professional/photoshopped pictures MAJOR turn off  (Read 3721 times)

Does anyone else find profiles that have professional/ photoshopped pictures a MAJOR turn off? Nothing annoys me more than heavily retouched pictures.

I find I am much more interested in profiles that have only natural pictures ( untouched pictures are easily spotted ) as you get to see the girl as she really is.

I despise the modelling/professional pictures to no end.

Nope.  It's just a sales pitch. Some of them look good in that cartoony style.  Take this one: veri pic shows she is still hot (imo)

I reject profiles with photos that are too good to be true ----------- I advise others to do the same.    :bomb:

You need a real life Goldilocks Jimmy! Where the pics (like the porridge and beds) are just right.

I think there's a great difference between the two.  A heavily photoshopped photo is useless but a professionally taken photo can truthfully show you what the girl is like.  For me a professional photo is preferable to what I call a Facebook photo, where the girl uses her phone to take a picture of herself in her bedroom with the floor strewn with her rubbish etc.

+1 ------------------ There's just no pleasing some people  :hi:

If a girl posts high quality non manipulated photos and is prepared to pay as much attention to hair, make up and outfits for the booking then fair play to her. Unfortunately often that is not the case.

For me good clear snapshots are usually enough to satisfy my curiosity but I wouldn't necessarily reject a girl who has made the effort to produce high quality photos.

Definitely agree with Skittish.

Heavy photoshopping usually puts me off. In general agencies are the major culprits of this.

Very true --------- I wonder if there's some medal or award he could collect somewhere?  :hi:

Completely agree - Photo shopped picture = no picture, because girls often look so different from their photo-shopped selves it might as well be a photo of someone else - 2 grades better - and because photo shopped pictures often point to bait and switch.

In a non-shopped model shoot the photographer is still paid to show a girl at her very best, which is not what I'm going to see, so it becomes a question of the degree of disappointment, which is hardly the best way to start a meet.

By contrast even a poor selfie in a cluttered room or picture in the park is more useful, because the room,  clothes, pose all say something about the girl, and because you there's at least some chance she may actually look better when you meet.
Of course girls sometimes post such rubbish pictures that you might mistakenly think they're too rough to bother with, but if she's lazy enough to put up something that does her an active disservice then that says something too.

I tell it as it is, that verification picture was far too dark, in other words fucking useless --- so I said so.  :hi:

And me, it's a perfectly clear face photo of a pretty young girl which is exactly what Jimmy demands. Really no reason for this continued negativity.

Its not that I find the professional pictures a turn off, I can even find them a turn on, but its a different part of my brain.
The part of my brain that gets turned on by the professional picture doesn't care what she is like without the good lighting and photoshop.

But if I want to know what the girl I actually am going to meet looks like, it is a turn off if she only has professional pictures.
Its okay to have some professional pics, but there has to be normal ones as well, otherwise how the do I know what they really look like?
I've seen too many examples of women that took totally different.

very hot.

I agree the professional pictures are a turn off, whereas this one is a turn on, but I also think in this case the professional pictures here SUCK to begin with.
The photoshop is just ridiculous on these ones.

Really? The one of her on that sofa thing is awesome :)

Can we please stop referring to manipulated images as 'professional photos' it's upsetting me
You have no idea if they were taken by a professional photographer or an amateur with a hard on for photoshop.

Me too, and she is clearly the girl in the profile photos, photoshopped or not. So not a good example to illustrate this thread.

Incidentally, do some punters REALLY pay £350 per hour for an incall?

I also think in this day and age each escort having a video wouldn't go a miss, sometimes photos can only show you so much.

I appreciate some WGs don't want to reveal their identities, personally I love the ones who upload a short clip where you can see their face and they are talking a little about themselves.

I agree with Jimmy. Unless you're prepared to fuck about enlarging it, the pic as seen on AW is way too dark. I can see the white paper (and writing), and her teeth.

Looks great, one of the best headshot verification pics I've seen. Most hide them completely.

But to the original point I avoid profiles with only photoshopped obviously modified pics unless they have some reliable reviews to back them up. Those type of photos are quite useless and can actually backfire on them.

Offline itk

Personally find a self taken shot is a better indication of the girl. As long as the face is recognisable and the pic is of a decent standard that for me is better than these ridiculous photo-shopped efforts.

this has got to be one of the most fucked with pictures? looks like CGI being filmed through a computer that's got conjunctivitis!!

I would disagree, a real unretouched photo of the girl in her rubbish strewn bedroom shows better what you're likely to encounter so you're better able to make a yes/no decision. Plus if it's a photo of the actual girl in the actual location you are much less likely to be caught in a B&S situation.

For me the worrying thing is when the photoshopping is done well, then you really get caught out! Most times it is terrible and easy to spot, what with plastic skin and such like. There's been a few on here over the years that have been difficult to spot, and the truth only comes out when we get a review!

For me photoshopping is a very big turn off , if i see it i move on.
