calella in spain

Calella is a old town about 40 minutes from Barcelona. I heared some old reports that calella has street prostitution and a good variety of strip clubs and other adult entertainment venues.  Can any members confirm or deny these reports?

The reason I ask is because the articles I found referring to calella are older than 8 years and things might have changed.

Be aware that there are two Calellas along the coast north from Barcelona.

I think you mean the one that is known locally as Calella de la Costa, which is a fair size resort town, but there is also Calella de Palafrugell, a fishing village turned resort, further up on the Costa Brava.

No idea about a RLD in Calella, but there used to be African street girls along the N-II as it turned inland N of Malgrat.
