I have to say that I have been slightly concerned at this situation for a while now. I have exchanged many messages with CT over the years, and this is someone who accessed UKP everyday - and then for some reason stopped on the 22nd August. It is a worry if I’m honest.

Yes, same here. I think he set up a text based group in the early days, possibly pre-UKP. It was Cool Tiger who referred me to UKP I believe. What particularly concerns me is that CT was like me - he would check in here everyday, and then for it to stop just like that is tremendously worrying.

We probably all remember Raddy disappearing in a similar manner when Mrs Raddy found out what he was up to, but he did make a brief comeback as Timmy2 I think before disappearing altogether. I hope CT has either found love (but you would still check in every now and then, wouldn't you?) or he's been caught out rather than something worse happening.

I remember one of Mansfield's finest SP's telling me that she treat every punter as though he was Cooltiger just in case he turned up one day, that's how much his presence on UKP meant to WG's. He did get to see her too, but her service never dropped with me & others either.

I fucking hope not.  I'd not feel happy if the admins had any means of finding / contacting any member outside of this forum beyond external friendships or the (presumably) anonymous email address on their account.

CT is one of the mods so I think the hope was that because of that they had contact - but I suspect not.

I have recently started going to SAA meetings. As much as I enjoyed my punting years I recognise that it’s probably not the healthiest activity. Truth be told, I don’t know yet how I’ll manage this part of me moving forward. But maybe CT just ended one chapter of his life and started another. I like to think that wherever he is. He’s happy with his choice.

Cooltiger is a cool fella. We exchanged messages a few times, mostly initiated by him and usually in a altruistic caring perspective from him, and he gives friendly advice. I've shared with him the truth behind the 'peartree' mob operation as it is called here, it is nothing of the sort but no one will take my word for it - I hoped that he might do a post seeing his cred here, h said he might but that was sometime ago. Anyway, he is a cool guy, very helpful.

I’d totally agree with all of that I spoke to the mids regarding trying to find out what has happened a while back, CT is knocking on and with the state of covid at the time I was too fearing the worst, he wouldn’t just switch it all off here.
Got the years I’ve known him he’s had my back a few times.
Let’s hope one day he will pop his head in to let us know he’s ok
