when did vivastreet stop showing the posted by tag? it makes it hard to see how many adverts a single pimp/brothel may have posted
Within the last couple of weeks Vivastreet had given groups the
option of hiding their "posted by" link.
Groups with poor service are likely to hide their group link, making it more difficult to avoid them.
Groups with better service can opt to keep their group link available, which makes it easier to find them and their associates.
Some groups might hide or show their group link do to lack of knowledge of which is better.
The
format I fell into when reviewing VS ads is to include the
link (which expires quickly), the
group link (which can have a long shelf life), and the
phone number. Maybe we should include a screen shot or something else since if the group option is gone. Many of the previous group links I've posted still work, but the content seems to be hidden.
I've done a lot of TOFTT and reviewing from Vivastreet ads, since girls will sometimes advertise on Vivastreet but not Adultwork, meaning that VS is the only route to find them. But VS is very difficult and time consuming to find reliable punts from, and the new change makes it even more difficult and time consuming. From a punter's perspective,
VS is really shite. The only reason I use it is due to lack of options in my punting region, and the fact that I can sometimes find decent punts on there that can't be found elsewhere.
I doubt VS has any interest in being more user friendly for punters, and are only interested in satisfying a niche or uniformed market of WGs who pay them directly to advertise. But ultimately it comes full circle, as relatively few punters use VS for this reason, which means less WG-clients, and less income for VS.
