I hadn't read the full details of what took place in this particular thread, so possibly not all of my remarks fitted these facts, but i have summarised several offences that can easily fit this type of behaviour and The Malicious Communications Act was helpfully mentioned too.

Something very similar appened on Ch4's "24 hours in Police Custody". The police were very discrete and sensitive. They take sex blackmail very seriously as the situation can escalate all to quickly. Blackmailer got 5 years, victim was not even mentioned in court.

I remember that, they had the blackmailer watching the drop off point. At the time quite a few on here put the blame on the escort (I won't mention the skank) but it turned out she was an innocent party and knew nothing about it.

There's been a couple of cases in the NE of escorts blackmailing punters and been jailed for it.

Just to confirm that this is now in the hands of the police so posting any further speculation or utter rubbish for that matter is pointless. The OP will update when given the all clear from the police to update.

I think you are slightly overestimating the risk. Thousands of incalls take place every day and nothing like this happens. It is as likely to happen in a hotel. Hidden cams are so small nowadays you wouldn't spot them. How do you know her handbag or purse sitting on the bedside table in your hotel room doesn't have a camera recording you?
