I agree.

Another ego trip film from another (imo) overrated director is Love by Gaspar Noe. It's also has real sex in it but the film is absolutely terrible. I fell for the hype and regretted it.

If you are looking for a particular film, google the name followed by Internet Archive and it will appear

It's a grey area, sometimes billed as a sex comedy, but not really either of those things. Also as you say no sex as such, but certainly a film about sex or at least the progression of a sexual relationship.
