I found a few airbnb listings by googling 'guest friendly airbnb marrakech' but never ended up actually booking any of them so I can't say how reliable they would be, could be worth a try though.

The best way is to ask the owner/agent of the airbnb clearly that you will have local guest. i have only booked once in Agadir Founty and he was fine it. i have another booking next month in an other area of Agadir.

Try booking for more than one person

….. and if you’re veering to the lower end of the market, are you walking into a hotel with a skank, have a think about what appearance there is in relation to what you need to pass via reception etc
