Couldn't agree more - so many seem to ignore the fact that these places perform a valuable service in that they allow men - and no doubt sometimes women! - a safe place to get sexual release. I am 69 and rather over wild shagging sessions, but I can and do enjoy a bit of a massage, a feel, some RO and HE. Would these so called do gooders prefer me to go out and rape someone? Believe me, as one who occasionally works with rape and abuse victims, the results of that are not funny. It is high time brothels were recognised and properly regulated which would be to the benefit of all.
What a silly thing to say.
Aside from the terribly misguided connection you seem to make between 'punting' and rape (from your statement you seem to be suggesting that a man - or at least a man liks you - deprived of the opportunity to dip his dick in a hooker is going to opt for the alternative of raping someone... Statements like that are like manna from heaven for the neo-liveral feminazis!
Of course, what the neo-puritans want is a perfect world of monogamy and no sex out of wedlock - and perhaps none in wedlock unless its for the very specific act of procreation only... none of that recreational sex!!!
But the previous poster - the old gent - is quite right; these parlours - in many parts of the country, whilst legally unlawful, are tolerated by the authorities to a degree. That doesn't make them lawful and as previous cases where the 'defence' (in so much as it is a defence) of 'abuse of process' has been advanced and rejected have shown - the authorities can change their policy at a whim. Turning a blind eye today does not make what was illegal yesterday lawful tomorrow and City Sauna (and the C4 programme producers) would be well advised to take that on board. They've rubbed the noses of many in the shit with that programme and raising the profile of an illegal business is very ill advised and I would say very bad for business.
I would also advise Jenni and Kath to make a very public announcement that they will NOT be appearing in any other programmes - especially Celebrity Big Brother (the part about celebrity status very much aside). Punters will be rightly horrified and greatly put off visiting any of the City Sauna ventures - editorial control is going to be extremely limited in the Big Brother sense and punters will be naturally fearful of the saying 'loose lips sink ships'. If City want to stay afloat they need to get the stealth paint out and get back under the radar.
