From what I understand fro the above my choices are the Nag's Head, the Rainbow, the Griffin, Brown's or Sunset Strip, right? (Not sure if Metropolis is still active but was never keen on the place 'back in the day' so wouldn't probably go even if it was available).

Not London itself but close by - the White Horse in High Wycombe is closing down.  I used to pop in frequently on my way home from work and remember Alistair Watts introducing some gorgeous girls who went above and beyond in the private dance area.

I strongly doubt, as I remember driving past maybe around year end and there were no signs advertising dancers as there used to be (on some chalkboard type thing outside). I'll try to make a detour this week and confirm its status.

Just came back from The Rainbow, first time going amd was fairly impressed.

I'll be heading back next week to push the envelope a bit more (had limited time tonight) but general thoughts are below:

Pros: same, if not better, quality of dances as Dalston, very hands on amd touching was definitely encouraged. Girls are prettier on the whole, save a couple from Dalston that spring to mind.

It also doesn't involve doing to Dalston 

Cons: it was fucking BUSY. There was a queue for the vip area  and I didn't see a stage show in the hour or so I was there if that's your thing.

As I said, I've not pushed the limits of what's on offer yet but some very hands (and mouth) on dances were available for 40/60 quid (depends on dancer) and a few were very cryptic about what else might be on offer which gives me cause for optimism- certain to be dashed but its fun to dream!

I have been tempted many times to try the £300 VIP room and find out how it goes -  but need to find the right girl to take ! I think I know who but not 100% decided yet. I think she might be at the Nags Head in Whitechapel. Def a Romanian brunette with glasses at the Nags ahead who used to be regular at the Axe. Had a private dance with her Jan or Feb of this year and was pretty good.

It seems most ex-Axe girls are either at Rainbows, as also suggested above, or Nags Head.

As for Dalston, the dances are very much Axe style and more but I find quality of girls not so good on the occasions I’ve been.
