Last year and in recent weeks this year where I work there have been discussions about UKPunting as well as Adultwork, escorts and punting experiences from quite a number of people.

As there are a lot of employees at my workplace there is always plenty of gossip, rumours flying around and topics like this, they spread like wildfire.

I think to myself as to why they are discussing this at work for everyone to know about. I believe there is a time and a place for "punting discussions" and it should not be the workplace. (This is just my opinion, you are welcome to disagree if you feel differently.)

I don't know about you all but I will be keeping my mouth shut about my own punting experiences, I'm at the workplace to work, not let on about my out of work activities.

H&F :)

Never ever tell anyone about your punting, it will only lead to grief.

Yes, it will come back to bite you on the arse, who might be your friend now might not be in a few months/years form now. Also if you get promotion you need to think how that would look if others know your secret.
Secrets are never safe if you tell anyone.

I have heard it being discussed at work but only because it was in the news eg the trip advisor of sex work.

Surely no bloke is dumb enough to talk in public about being 's member here.  That can lead to nothing but grief
Banned reason: Excessive abuse to helpful member, ignored repeated requests to apologise

I had an ex-gf back in the day who (while we were still together and "in lurvvv") asked me point blank if I had ever shagged hookers. So glad now we're broken up (years ago) that I didn't say "Yes, over 100 if you count blowjobs and happy endings". Remember, someone might have your back today, but will they tomorrow?

It's safest never tell anyone else about your punting - not friends, family, the other half, and especially not work colleagues. It's social death in today's puritan Google era. You can never undo it or take it back, so why expose yourself in the first place?

We live in a culture which demonises men and male sexuality; look at what this bloke is going through just for a bad date, and then imagine what would happen to a married man who confessed to banging prossies because his wife only does starfish duty sex every three months (after making feel suitably humiliated at her lack of interest of course): External Link/Members Only

Couldn't agree more.

Always feign ignorance of any knowledge in such discussions. Saves loads of problems later as it's a risky activity.
And no one in the right mind punts near work or on their own doorstep, so as to avoid being spotted.

Me; I'd find an excuse to leave the room if such a conversation had started where I used to work. I've always been a rotten liar and would have gone  if the topic had come up.

My closest mate knows, because he dabbles as well.

Wouldn't mention it at work though.
