I agree with Steely Dan (I think — the algebra could be a bit clearer but this in not a maths forum). What pisses me off occasionally is the scare mongering STD threads. They are getting more sophisticated but experienced members know that a fair number of people get banned for going over the score — it just encourages dubious accusations.
Bareback / Unprotected sex
Allowed, but other members have the right to express disapproval of such activities.
Allegations of sexually transmitted diseases
Past incidents has shown such extreme and damaging allegations to be malicious and from troublemakers or simply mistaken. Therefore it is not acceptable to make such allegations against others.
This isn’t a medical forum either. We can exchange general information and the vast majority of opinion is don’t touch barebackers — but if someone is concerned about the technical aspects of STDs (which can be pretty involved) then they should access medical forums and online medical journals, of which there is no shortage.
The other advice I’d throw in (just my opinion) apart from a)use a rubber and b) avoid known barebackers, is, c) if you have a s/o, or are married, and have an active sexual relationship, either avoid OWO or, depending on your risk calibration / personal definition of safe sex, leave a couple of weeks before fucking them. Gonny and chlamydia are the most common (though rare) STDs transmitted orally. They both need Gum Clinic treatment but only the first is more likely to have obvious symptoms. Treatment for chlamydia is a bit more straightforward and can be purchased online. Thrush, although not an STD, can be passed back and forward by sexual contact and more noticeable in women (treatment with or without symptoms is simple and no prescription required — Fluconazole in a pill or Canestan cream sorts it, with or without symptoms). There’s others but like I said, they are a bigger deal if you are having sex with a s/o or are married.
