I chanced upon the Statscrop site a few minutes ago.  I'd never previously heard of it, but others may have.

Some of its statistics on Adult Work are not without interest:

I had no idea the site was quite so UK-centric. I wonder if many other countries have their equivalent sites, or whether they're just shit out of luck for finding escorts online? Much though we like to moan about AW's many faults, I'd be pretty gutted if we didn't have it available.

That was what I particularly noticed too.  Adult Work always rather gives the impression that it is fully international.  In reality, apart from a smattering of Americans and Norwegians (and even smaller numbers from other, unidentified countries), AW's aficionados are all from Blighty.

Similar web is the alternative.  Scroll down halfway to 'Audience Interests'.  I wont spoil it with a screen shot :)

What does it mean adultwork domain expires in 8 years time?

That's an even more interesting site than Statscrop.  It's amazing how much info these sites are able to come up with.

Oddly, however, while Norway comes third in the Adult Work "nations table" on Statscrop, on Similarweb the next three countries after the UK and the US are Turkey, Colombia and Ireland.

Domain names - like External Link/Members Only or External Link/Members Only - are rented for a number of years. During that time you get to say what physical server people are sent to when they enter or click on that domain name. At the end of that period you either renew it or it becomes available to someone else to rent. So the Adultwork owner maybe paid for 10 years a couple of years ago.
