Many families moved in as it was close to motorways but found that houses built at expense of amenities so no shops, no GP surgery, no schools etc! Has been rectified but quite a soulless place.

And they are continuing to build in the green fields just to the East side and North of Parkway. And you are right their hasnt been any increase in the local amenties as you mention. The main supply roads are just getting busier.

Just to correct the issue, Bradley stoke was nicknamed sadly broke as a certain builder used the wrong mix of cement to a tiny proportion of houses in the northern sector. Resulting in the properties needing expensive repairs. Like many new housing estates they appear soulless as all you see is brick and cement. I've rented there and its quite a nice place. Although cannot comment on punting as it was too close to home.
