Guys that think that the average content creator on OF or other such sites is making a good living are deluded
Instagram put a girl on my homepage the other day who I saw made an sa account about 6 months ago. Recognised the pictures, so clicked on the profile, and there was a 'linktree' at the top. This led me to download TikTok to take a look. She had about 80,000 followers on Instagram, but a few hundred thousand on TikTok. She had made about 1,000 videos some with a million views but most 100k-200k. Saw a lot more like her & on the app there were some hot girls about 20, doing live stream shows from their bedrooms, random guys sat watching it, popping up in comments simping and giving her tokens (the same way as camsows), she was just sitting there talking, fully dressed and getting paid.
Decided to take a look at the sort of money, they could be earning from this, whilst it didn't look like much, four cents per thousand views, so about $40 per million. I do imagine they could easily earn an extra 600-£1000 a month from this, plus promoting products, commissions on items sold by clothing companies which were in links with a code to their name.
It seems easier to do than OF and get additional income, it's certainly not a living wage, but competitive to getting a part-time job when you're at uni, living with parents or the 1 booking or so a week type girls who were supplementing their income.
I do agree, OF is challenging to make anything without a decent following, but Tiktok may be a slightly larger potential factor than I had realised. At the end of the day they'll likely always be girls, a lot of young people find posting TikTok's cringe, some want nothing to do with social media and some just aren't interested in displaying their lives to the world.
