And for copying profile texts, right click-save as text doc (txt)
Interesting. It does the same as a Command+Shift+F4 on a Mac, though I think it maybe uses much more resources (though I'm only testing it on a Mac).
But although it gives you various options that duplicate the Mac shortcuts, I don't see 'save as text' on any of the right click options. To do that it would have to have an OCR built in (which would be quite handy - Adobe Acrobat does it I seem to remember from the free trial but at a hefty price).
I used to save a separate folder with pictures and stuff but eventually found it too cumbersome. I'll save a copy of my AW notes file on a WG sometimes, or paste it into my private contacts cards, but what with the turnover and matching them up it proved too much hassle to do much more than that.
I do like to save photos (inc PGs) of a prossie I'm about to shag on a temporary basis just as a warm up, but don't hang on to them.
What would be very nice is if the Notes facility on AW would:
a) allow me to save thumbnails as well as text
b) not vanish
Mostly it doesn't matter when it vanishes as it reappears when she reappears as someone else, but a few devious prossies get round that and you have to match them up to their old identity.
There's several plugins and apps that let you save notes to a particular webpage but I haven't found them stable enough over time to rely on.
