https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=420.10400I, along with a few others on here have recently proved that AW themselves are responsible for a lot of the fake accounts on their website.
There are more repeat fake accounts on AW than there are repeats on the BBC or UK Gold.
I recently started logging phone numbers being used, and one number alone linked to several different regular fake profiles.
There's been recent discussion about people on here all getting together and tackling AW about it. But no one seems interested.
Today alone I've spotted 20 fake accounts. 15 of those are repeat fake accounts. For every private gallery sale, displaying a phone number, etc, AW pocket ALL the money. No one gets a refund for a making a fake profile PG purchase.
Even genuine profiles cannot be trusted. It's so easy to verify an account. Or buy/steal someone else's verified account.
It's clearly obvious no one at AW bothers checking new profiles being registered. It literally takes seconds to run a photo through reverse image checking websites such as Yandex, Google, or Tineye. But why bother when fake accounts are making them money.
Try reporting fake accounts via your registered AW account, and they'll threaten you with deactivation of your account as "such activity goes against the spirit of the club".
In short, AdultWork can not be trusted any more, and IMHO the sooner they're investigated by someone in authority, the bloody better.
