This feels like a scene from Bergerac but;
Many years back I was told that prostitution is frowned upon in the Channel Islands! So much so that the local law officers would monitor UK punting sites and if a lady announced a CI tour she would be tracked, traced down, even met off the ferry or plane and turned back on arrival.
The Island authorities were reknown for policing the islands to maintain standards.
If you arrived with a backpack and camping gear you would need a site booking to be allowed to land.
Arriving in a campervan, no booking, no landing, unless you had confirmed hotel bookings.
