It can be pricey (as was the Axe in its final year or so). I've paid £20 a dance midweek, but it's tamer at twenty. For £40 there was plenty of rubbing, nip sucking and depending on the girl, some fingers... The VIP rooms are silly expensive. I went in there once and had a very nice 30 mins. Nothing close to FS (although I've heard stories) but hands and tongues everywhere. The English girls are less likely to have more mileage. 

It's at least a tenner to get in and the drinks can be pricey. The atmosphere is really Essex, with some young blokes in tight shirts wanting to look fighty..!! But I've never seen any trouble in there.

It's not the Axe, but it seems nowhere is any more.

I've been out of the game for a while for a few reasons, thought these clubs would be a good way to get back into it.

Went to Dalston a couple of times over the past month or so, I'd echo what others have said in terms of it being a mixed bag, but some of the girls are nice and eloquent and good to chat to, without being too pushy and overall I like the place. I do like that it seems to be a "what you make of it" type of club, so depending on what you go in looking for you'll have a different experience. I was just looking for some nice hands on dances and ended up settling on 40 for 2 songs with most of the girls. They weren't rushed and I left very happy.

Thinking of going again this week, what is the consensus as to the best of the rest for a warm up act? As Dalston doesn't open till 8.

I think it's closed this week, back to normal on Wednesday 11th. As for best of the rest as a warm up in the area, I do like browns , also the horns, I find rainbow annoyingly high pressure, metropolis doesn't open till 9ish, nags head is closing and haven't been to fyeo or 23 paul street.

These 2 inspectors offered up £240 each for a dance. If they had said will you do a fuck for £240 I dare say they may have said yes. What would have happened if they had offered £1K, got the works no doubt. I cant help but think they acted as Agent provocateur and this enticement would inevitably have ended up as closure.
No one in their right mind would offer £240 when you can get an hour of the real deal up the road.

I've always thought Spearmint Rhino was a stereotypical lapdancing club with maximum outlay for minimal reward from Stringfellows type 'stunners'.

Visited The Griffin on an afternoon earlier this week. Disappointing selection of girls. Also(apart from one) they lacked enthusiasm when up on stage - they were just going through the motions. The girls did circulate more than during my last visit and were not too pushy for private dances (which were £15 until 5pm).

I believe this is a fair summary.  The only other 'still-open' place mentioned above is the Woolpack, but that is out in Hayes, so not at all in town.

One advantage of Sunset Strip is if you are randy, you can visit a Soho walk up after for a BJ or Sex. Lots of massage places too.  Equally, Brown's and Rainbow are very close so if one is shit you can visit the other before you give up and go shopping.
