In 2016 - How much do you think you spent on punting

for me its approx £900   this year = £75.00 month

bet smokers and drinkers spend more

Just done a rough tot up, must be over £5- 6k not including hotel bookings for a few outcall only girls, that's made me realise I need to cut back and do fewer but better quality,  well over 50% have been awful - middling.
And go back to half hour bookings only upping to hour for subsequent vists if have a good time.
Thanks for the post has really made me think.

£5-£6k in the year and no review since 2014!!!!   That's disgraceful IMHO

Offline Mcping

Probably 1-2 ish punts a month. Im more into 30 minute bookings or parties.

£1500 ish

Offline CallingBluff

Around £360. But I only started half way through this year. In 2017 I need to tick more off my hotlist instead of doing spirit of the moment punts and review more.

Offline vision2014

I know for sure ive spent £1200 on vanessa at AYS this year on just this girl alone maybe girls could start doing a points system like tescos i would have  earned £120   thats 3 free punts for xmas

Offline prince2

I've spent about £2000 on Escort Nadia plus about the same on other girls. Total £4000 this year                              :scare:

If you multiply these amounts by the number of punters working girls see per day/week/month they are making an awful load of tax free cash...

...and we are paying, sometimes, for some pretty terrible punts.

Time to rethink our hobby maybe, and give those with bad reviews to boot.

Offline RedditchJay

EXACTLY...... still to know punts that deliver the service.... you could almost name 20 in the West Midlands who do that.......... the rest are a waste of space and money

Offline azrael

In the ball park of £7k, thats a reduction from my previous years though  :dash: :dash: :dash:

I don't want to think about it..

I've started to get the  facts and figures together for my 2016 podging round up. I'm not done yet but there's some sobering numbers  planned and budgeted numbers I hasten to add though.

Offline purple_t

Been a quiet year for me, illness + recovery from an operation meant I was out of action for a while.

Will be about £700 once the year is over (I have a punt lined up between Christmas and New Years).

Looking to punt once every 2-3 weeks come January... and more often than that if I get a promotion at work.

Yeah good idea lol, I really wish that system did exist in punting!! Be a good deal for all of us!!  :yahoo:

Offline mrdiamond77

I have not kept count but it's a lot.  At a guess it's got to be close to £8000.  Had a lot of fun though.

I'm not sure to be honest, but probably in the region of about £2000 this year. An expensive pursuit certainly, but it's less money than I've spent on the OH this year and in chasing after other bits of skirt, of that I am certain. Way I see it, if I want sex I've always gotta pay one way or another.

£1580 this year, less than half of last years.

Offline KidCandyShop

Use to average £800 a month but been forced to cut that down as of late, last couple of months £200ish

I've over estimated my spend, loked at it again was more like £4k+hotels.
Still going to review how I spend from now on ( apart from Tuesday already booked)

Offline claretandblue

Roughly 4k, similar to last year in terms of total cost, have punted slightly less this year with some more expensive one off punts in the mix....

My hotlist is looking pretty stale right now so not sure what 2017 will bring

How do you guys afford this? Loans? Savings?

Selling crystal meth, same as you.  :hi:

Offline Blackpool Rock

Probably around £2500 - £3000 which is the same as the last few years.
Sounds like a lot however as someone else says how much does a smoker spend? I believe that a pack of 20 is now almost £10 so a "20 a day" smoker will spend more.

If only punters reviewed their bad punts  :dash:

Something I don't like to think about too much, but I'd say between £5k and 7k.

I'm going to cut down next year (yeah, said that before!)

My punting budget's around £350 most months.  Whenever I get a little bonus, it tends to disappear into that month's punting budget and I push the boat out that month! ;)

I prefer to think of it as a monthly figure.  If I said £4,000 - £4,500 a year, I'd feel less comfortable with it.

Very true for many things. If people did the sums on how much their daily Frappamochachocachino costs them over the year, the likes of Costa and Starbucks would be in big trouble.

That simple .

I don't want to know, been punting now for 37 years, if I have spare money I punt if I don't I do without

Offline Juilius_Sneezer

About 700 but I started in March and had a 6 month "sabbatical." I afford this due to not spending anything on anything except bills and duty free for those 6 months!

If you are a single Guy! It is probably cheaper and a lot less hassle than marriage!! I am single! Who would marry a Frog anyway???

Offline poundstock

£1430 for 10 punts. Worth every penny. Plan to spend £3000 in 2017 funded by delaying a new car and saving on the deposit, travelling standard class on the train instead of 1st class to get to my punts and not renewing my football season ticket. If you knew which football team I supported you would think that is no loss.

This is the advice I keep seeing on UKP from those who have been married and experienced costly divorces :hi:

Offline Malvolio

Total spend of £1,840 so far - call it £2,000 once the cost of getting to and from the punts is factored in.

Offline willie loman

The real spenders are keeping quiet. Remember your sex life usually ends before you or your savings do. Sex reduces the risk of dementia and other shit stuff. I average 2 visits a week to parlours, go figure  As for that other punter obsession, what the girls earn, some of them do well, most don't. How many wgs own their own home?

Offline Jindybandy

Another question then is; what else (if anything) would you have rather spent your punting money on this year? Holiday? Top of the line sports tickets?

For me I'm supposed to be learning to drive and getting a car! Put it off too long now, but all these beautiful women selling their wares don't have make it hard though (so to speak  :D)

Offline Gustav Klimt

Had 53 punts this year spending £3500. Last year spent £2300, so quite an increase this year. Mostly do 30 minute punts. Got 2 more lined up over Christmas period. I finance this from overtime. Couldn't afford to do this on basic pay.

Offline Plan R

Only resumed punting (after a relationship ended) in June.
Extrapolating from what I spent in six months - I reckon it would be 1500 pa

So what? Thats peanuts compared to what you loose if you marry or buy property with one of the sexless, conniving, resource-grabbing cunts.

As the Americans so wisely say;   'If it fucks, floats or flies - hire it'

Learning to drive is way more important, get that sorted first, in fact don't punt until you've got your life sorted, so that you are punting through choice.

Just under £3,200 so far in 2016, prob couple more punts pre/post Xmas if intended WG's are available for "market research" will inc to abt £3,500.

Less punts these days, 1-2 per month, can't be arsed to travel all over the place, getting on a bit, losing enthusiasm of 10 yrs ago, 15 visits spread across 5 diff WG's so far

Big reduction on last bumper year of £7,300 in 2011, excuse then more £ available for self indulgence as economy recovered after shit period 2008 - 2010/personal income increased.

Prior to that most exp yr was just under £7k in 2005 when business/economy was booming!

Only waste it on something else anyway!

Offline TPreston

About £1200 over the past two months. That includes hotels and travel for 4 overnights and 2 quick hour punts off seeking arrangement
