AdultWork Sales - is it some sort of scam?

Found myself looking at the For Sale section of this member and she has a load of really odd random stuff listed

External Link/Members Only or External Link/Members Only

Much of it is twice the price you could pay on Amazon etc, and she says in her FAQ...

Q. Can you list an item for me not in your shop?   A. Yes I can. Simply send me the link to the item & I will be able to tell you how much credits it will be.


I just can't believe that a SS/SP would look on AW if they needed a new George Foreman grill or Sony headphones.  It makes me wonder what is going on?  Is it some way to get easy positive feedback or cash credits without commission?

It's an equal opportunities scam the buyer has to buy the credits to pay. The seller has to pay a fee to AW when withrawing money from their AW account and have to
1. Make a minimum withdrawal of (it used to be fifty quid)
2. Wait about 2 weeks from requesting the withdrawal for the money to hit their bank account or a money order to arrive.
I suspect most AW sellers pass these costs onto the buyer which accounts for the higher prices.
