I know picking up a street hooker probably isn't recommended. However, driving down Forest Road at night recntly, I noticed a few girls that looked like prostitiutes so just wondered if anyone has had any experience with any of them

It has been a RLD since the 1980's to my knowledge. One of the 1st to have CCTV as well

It looks like nothing has changed

There used to be 2/3 on every corner back in the day.
Nowadays it's just a couple of Crack ravaged desperadoes & street robbers.. If you want to put your genitalia anywhere near one of them then you need your head wobbling.

Steer the fuck clear.  The area is heavily monitored by the bill and the only girls left these days would sooner stab you with an infected needle than suck your cock.

Book a decent hooker for a 15min quickie if thats your thing but i wouldnt risk nottingham street whore.

Cameras all around there
I used to drive that way most evenings for work
You saw some right sights (and not good ones)

Conspiracy theory for that area is
Big consortium with plenty of cash and underhand morals moved the hookers in years ago
House prices naturally plummeted due to drugs crime etc
Same consortium bought houses
Moved hookers out (most if them)
Prices rise
Sell
Police win aswell as they think the cameras and patrols cleaned the streets
This same group have done this in a lot of cities up and down. The country
Hence they always target an affluent area for red light district

Well that's what I was told anyway

Okay, you want seriousness. Here it is.

A girl on the street is more vulnerable.  She is getting into cars with strangers to go to a quiet, hidden away, place.  She is vulnerable to robbery, rape and violence.  Between tricks she has to stand out on the street in the cold and the rain and in full sight of the locals who don't want her there and may well take vigilante action against her.  She is also committing an offence just by standing there and doing so out in the open in full view of the police.

So why would a girl do that rather than work in a parlour or a flat where none of that applies?  Street girls do that because they HAVE NO OTHER CHOICES.

Street girls are more likely to be coercively pimped, forced to be on the game against their will.  They are more likely to be trafficked.  They are more likely to have mental health issues or to lead chaotic lives that make them unattractive to parlours who need reliable staff and unable to organise the things necessary to be independents.  They are more likely to have drug or alcohol problems.

You as a punter are vastly more likely to be contributing to the abuse of these women by punting street girls than parlour girls or independents.

Don't care about the women?  How about the people of Birmingham?

People who live in areas where girls work the streets find the detritus of the business, (used condoms, syringes and the like), in their gardens and on the streets.  They have children like everyone else, and they care about their wellbeing as they walk to school in the early morning.   Women and girls, (sometime very young girls), who live in these areas find themselves being propositioned for sex just because they are on the street.  Imagine those things happening on a regular basis to your child or your wife.

Along with the street girls come the pimps and the drug dealers and other assorted low life's.  Pretty soon the area starts to feel like a war zone. People don't come to the area and good folk stay off the streets so the local businesses fail and close down.  The area becomes derelict and boarded up.  Property values drop so people can't sell up and leave and the area becomes extremely unpleasant to live in.

Don't care about the locals?  How about you and yours?

Street girls, because of all of the above are more vulnerable to punters forcing bareback on them or perhaps to their offering it for a premium.  This, in conjunction with all of the things mentioned above makes them more likely to be carriers of untreated STDs which they will pass on to you.  Taking basic precautions like visually inspecting a girl, which you would do naturally in a punt, is almost impossible in a car parked in a dark alleyway.

It is quite possible to infect your loved ones with life threatening incurable diseases without even knowing that you yourself have been infected.  Using a condom isn't always a fail safe method of protecting yourself.

Street girls, by definition, are likely to be more desperate for quick cash and are more likely to rob you.  Robbing you is easier while your pants are down, in a confined space and when your mind is elsewhere.

If that wasn't enough Kerb crawling is illegal and you can be arrested for it.  Usually after arrest and charge your details will be published in the local press and letters concerning the case will be sent to your home.  Your wife and your employer will know that you have been arrested and charged for a sex related offence.  This too may have some impact on aspects of your life.

So, in conclusion, when the guys here take the piss they are indeed "trying to be clever", but they are doing so secure in the knowledge that the person asking the question REALLY REALLY isn't.  People here may or may not know about the street walkers of Brum, but I would imagine that they aren't telling you about any of it because they already made some assessments of you and your capacity for rational thought.

The jokes from some of the guys here are perhaps a blokey way of saying "Wise up fool!"

I don't know about them.  For my part I was really just taking the piss.

I have on numerous occasions posted the above, as a response to RLD enquries. This poster makes quite a few valid points.

Definitely agree - good points made. Just to be clear, I wasn't disregarding any of the above points in asking my original question; I just wondered if anyone has had any experiences

With the advent of CCTV and in particular ANPR, it makes it more risky, especially if you use a company car as you don't want the plod turning up at your offices enquiring what you were doing picking up a girl in a RLD area  :scare:

Also, in some RLD areas, in order to drive away the trade from their residential areas, some of the local residents have passed on to the local plod evidence of motorists picking up street girls in their areas.

I last picked up a girl from a RLD area nearly 25+ years ago.

This thread makes me shudder and brings back dreadful memories. In 1992 I was living in Nottingham and at night I would often drive around the RLD area with a view to picking up a girl - one night I had driven around a couple of times and then pulled onto Ilkeston Road, then in the year view mirror I saw a blue light and a police motorcycle pull up behind me. He asked me what I was up to and then radio'd another unmarked BMW to come over and they had me in the back of the car and interviewed me. It was all very uncomfortable I have to say. Anyhow, they said I would be summoned to magistrates court. I was shitting myself for a good few months, but eventually nothing ever turned up and I never heard anything, but it was good enough to put me off that avenue of pleasure forever.

I went to meet a girl for a punt hear a red light district about a year ago, to a house near Forest Road Nottingham, I parked up several hundred yards up as not to show my car, whilst walking was approached by 2 streetwalkers offering services, I said no and kept walking to be honest I was more scared it was the plod setting me up than being robbed, thought the chances were probably 50/50 either way.
I got near the punt address and the WG wasn't answering the phone!!! Bitch!!!
Walked back to the car and noticed the girls were now talking to a guy that had pulled over in a car, one got in and he drove off...... Good luck with that pal

As mentioned the diseases they girls probably carry will kill you, even just with owo anyone considering this is more or less committing suicide IMO

Do you remember back then, they used to put it in the evening post when people went to court for this? I'd never be able to live that down

That takes me back, that's where I first started August Bank holiday Monday a long long time ago. Used to be plenty of choice and some decent ones back then.

I was one of those who got caught and ended up in court, got bound over to keep the peace, luckily it did not end up in the Evening Post. I was checking it every night for a few weeks after. I did not go back after.

I got caught with my pants down (literally!) by the plod in coventry once. A few days later they turned up at my flat to "verify" the datails i gave them.  Hairy hairy moments but thankfully nothing came of it.  Didnt put me off tho :D

Also off the Forest Road East, I picked up two girls ( :dash:), went wrong way down a one way street. Police car coming the other way  :scare: life about to end,  but fortunately blue light was for something more pressing. Dumped the girls and sped out of Notts like a bat out of hell.
