Agreed.
I appreciate we're all newbies once, BUT I apply a general set of rules to any review based on experience:
a) Is the reviewer a newbie here?
b) Does the reviewer lack other, well balanced reviews?
c) Is the review either glowing or harsh?
d) Is the wording of the review short and/or flakey?
e) Is the review for someone relatively new to AW?
f) Is the SP Romanian/Portuguese/Spanish/Italian/Brazilian(Portuguese)?
(Explanation: same Romance language group - Romanians find it easy to pick up and speak the other languages, but not vice versa)
If the answer to more than 2 or 3 of these is yes, alarm bells start ringing, big time.
For the above "review", all six boxes are ticked with a whopping "
YES".
Combine that with SE's sharp observations that the AW reviews are:
a) All in a similar style of writing
b) From customers with a very low number of other reviews
c) Customers that are all given feedback from similar SP's
d) Similar in writing style to that of the reviewer here
...And I've got loud alarm bells going off in my head that this review is complete BS, and the review and SP should be treated with large servings of caution.
Maybe not a fake SP, but certainly highly questionable feedback that's there to tout in a targeted manner, IMHO.
No apologies for sounding harsh, there are way too many trip wires broken to take this feedback at face value.
Same conclusion: Buyer beware.
