Booking Cancellation In Norwich

Is it normal!

I texted a lady on here with regard to availability.

I received an immediate response back stating where she was staying and that she was available now.

Notwithstanding I was only 5 minutes away it took me 90 minutes to see the lady.

I was asked to shower on arrival but was then asked to hurry up.

The lady concerned then advised me that she wished to cancel the booking and give me a full refund. I was asked to hurry as the lady concerned stated that she had another appointment very shortly.

I subsequently received a further Email message from the lady advising that she was sorry for cancelling the booking which was due to the fact that I appeared to be highly intoxicated and that she does not see clients whom are drunk, high or anything else like that. The problem I have is that I have not had a drink in 14 years and have never ever done drugs.

I have messaged the lady concerned and had no response. The lady concerned is well reviewed on here and her feedback is excellent.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Sorry you had the run-around this morning, as the others have already said, name and shame this S.P . At least you got a free shower.

 Unfortunately , many of these ladies are not renowned for their veracity, reading most of the profiles, how many of them are any where near truth such as ..age/ services actually offered/ size etc.

So , most of what they say, you take with a pinch of salt etc. Hence the bit about  you having been drinking/stoned etc. .

In reality, what  has happened is that she has just got a better offer of longer time maybe, or maybe a  financial sucker/   long term regular   or she has  even double booked . This guy knows the address  and is on his way.. He'll bang on the door and won't be best pleased to see you there!

Interestingly I had a meeting with a young lady recently, who is usually pretty reliable. When I arrived she asked me to wait a few minutes so I went around the block. 15 mins later I was called in. This has never happened before.

I have been seeing this girl for years and SN is a big fan. When I got in she greeted me like a long lost friend and told me that she had just had a client who felt really wrong and she couldn't work with. She was quite shaken up about it and said he seemed drunk or on drugs.

She is normally a ray of sunshine. I wonder if it was the same incident.

I guess sometimes people don't connect, and there is a bad personality clash. I don't want to mention the name as it might not have been her and I don't want to blemish her pretty much perfect feedback. I am a bit fluffy about her.

Something doesn't feel right here, you booked for an hour from 9:30 and she confirmed at 9:45?  Called with room number at 9:59? AW doesnt allow confirmation after the allocated time. Sorry, but I'm calling bullshit on this little story.

In her feedback on AW from February she turned away a client who according to her had cleanliness and etiquette issues. The client left negative feedback claiming she kept the fee. She said she refunded.

Clearly she has standards (as all should) and is her right to deny service. Perhaps something put her off or you were double booked.

When I saw Gabby she came over as an absolutely open, generous natured, rational person and her comms. and self-organisation were beyond reproach. More recently I , to my profound regret, felt obliged to cancel a booking with her because I had a cold and sore throat. Gabby was complelely understanding in her acknowledgement.

OP on the other hand has posted just one , negative, review and 66 posts, mostly pointless or inclined to negativity.

If he was really stone-cold sober and undrugged then maybe he walks like a drunken sailor and has a speech impediment.

I can only report the facts as they are, All I would say is that Gabby has been on my Hot List for sometime and I was quite looking forward to meeting with her.

I messaged Gabby at 8.32 p.m. to ask where she was based and what availability she had. At 8.35 p.m. Gabby responded by saying that she had unlimited availability that evening.

At 8.40 p.m. I responded by saying that I was shopping at Riverside. At 8.58 Gabby Emailed to ask what time I would like.

At 9.16 p.m. I replied saying now and providing my contact number. At 9.20 p.m. Gabby responded but asked me to make a booking on-line which I subsequently did booking 1 Hour - 9.30 p.m. - 10.30 p.m.

Gabby confirmed the booking at 9.45 p.m. At 9.48 p.m. Gabby called me to say that she needed to get ready and this would take approximately 10 minutes. At 9.59 p.m. Gabby rang and gave me her room number.

On meeting with Gabby pleasantries were got out of the way and the paperwork sorted. I was asked if I would like a shower which I agreed to (as is usual practice). After about 5 minutes I was asked to hurry up. When I emerged from the shower I was told by Gabby that she was going to terminate the booking and give me a full refund. I was again asked to hurry up as I understood another appointment was imminent.

When I arrived home I found an Email message from Gabby advising that she had cancelled due to the fact that I was highly intoxicated. On health grounds I do not drink alcohol and have not done so for approximately 15 years. Subsequent Emails to Gabby have been ignored.

I have seen other ladies whom are no longer working and I can see reason for reviewing them when there is no legitimate reason to do so.

Ultimately, if that makes me a Bullshitter so be it.

In response to your queries Glowworm, I was available to see Gabby at anytime from 8.35 p.m. I was literally across the road shopping. I provided Gabby with my contact number but was asked to put my request in writing. Yes, I booked 1 hour from 9.30 - 10.30 p.m. which Gabby agreed to by confirming. I was just waiting for Gabby to contact me.

Having meet Gabby, she seems to be a decent SP, quite organised and good service provider.
At the end of the day she does have the right to turn you away if she so desires but not if she has clashed with another booking which is wrong. I don't believe she is a prude as I'm no oil painting.

Difficult one, if you feel aggrieved put in a negative review.

I was speaking to Gabby during the day Tuesday, about a booking, and I was struggling to get a suitable time, and said I wouldn't be available until after 10. She replied and said she was available at 10.30 for an hour. I said I would contact her later if I was able to make it.

I messaged her at 22.13 to ask if she was still available and she replied at 22:37  to say she had finished for the evning due to an unpleasant experience,  and having to ask her previous 'guest' to leave. Obviously I didn't see this person but i can confirm hat Gabby messaged me her side of the story 6 days before this post appeared and stated that in her opinion the visitor was drunk, and she asked him to leave with a full refund.

I have visited Gabby twice, as per my reviews, and have no reason to not believe her version of events.

We exchanged a couple of emails during this time, so I would doubt she received a better offer, and indeed turned down my request for a booking. Although I did arrange a subsequent visit, as detailed in my recent review.

Gabby is a great punt, as evidenced by her reviews on her, I have no idea what happened to the op, but I'm sure she had her reasons.

Thanks for confirming who it was arkle. Sounds like she genuinely believed you were under the influence as I can't imagine that she'd bother to tell another punter a made up story. Perhaps you were singing in the shower!

My initial reaction was that you should post a review with all the details. Then, I thought maybe it's not a great idea as it wouldn't be anonymous as the WG could clearly figure out who you are.
Anyway, your cover is blown on this thread as we all know who the WG is and she knows who you are if she reads this. So, I still say you should post a proper review. At the moment, you've only done one review (a negative on a EE) and don't have a lot of credibility.
I've not seen Gabby, tried to book a few times but fixing a time was difficult. I think she can be disorganised but there's nothing in previous posts to indicate poor service once she does commit to a booking. Something about you, whether rightly or wrongly, must have put her off and it's her call on whether to go ahead or not. Since she gave a full refund, look at the positives- you got to see her in the flesh and take a free shower after all that sweaty shopping - and move on, plenty of others for you to see and review.
