I think some of your points are quite valid; yes, you're probably right in that definition of a troll. It isn't great when joining a new forum though that you're labelled as dishonest even when you make attempts to show that you're not.

You're also right that I shouldn't have said the therapy thing but I think that you can't draw the distinction between attacking someone's words on here versus attacking them. To give you an analogy: if I submitted a scientific paper and Marmalade said that my methods were incorrect and that my conclusions were wrong, that's one thing, it's quite another to say that I'm deliberately being untruthful! Whether it's written against my words or not, that's still attacking me.
