I was looking forward to a punt after work in central London. Then, I realized I'd changed my jacket that day and forgotten to transfer the generic Cialis from my other jacket! Plenty of cursing and annoyance with myself until I remembered you can now get Viagra OTC without a prescription. I did a google search and found there was a Boots within walking distance.
This is the first time I've done this, maybe describing what happens will be useful to others who are thinking about it. I went to the Boots and told the man at the sales counter what I wanted. In fact, the OTC Viagra was prominently displayed on the shelf so I already knew the details/price. He asked me to fill out a two page questionnaire. Basic questions such as whether I'd taken it or other ED medication before, been prescribed for it, had any adverse effects and what other medication I was on. He then had it checked by the female pharmacist, and that was it, took only a few minutes. With the purchase, he gave me a piece of paper that I can use to get a repeat without doing the questionnaire again. Also told me that I should see a GP within the next six months, which I'm not intending to do.
I prefer Cialis to Viagra, and I buy mine much cheaper online. Nevertheless, it's nice to know the Viagra is available for emergencies.

Thanks for the info.  Was it Viagra brand or generic?  What did it cost?  :hi:

The over the counter without prerscription from Boots would be Viagra Connect in 50mg tablets.

Viagra is Pfizer's patented trade name, by definition only they can use it. A generic producer can manufacture the drug, which is sildenafil, but will call it by another name.
What Boots are selling is Pfizer Viagra, I bought four 50 mg pills at 19.95. That's expensive compared to generics or asking your doctor to let you have it on the NHS. But it's good to know it's there if you need it. The UK is a lot stricter with pharmaceuticals compared to other countries. In Brazil, for example, many prescription drugs including those for ED are readily available over the counter.

Thanks for the intel. What would you say is the equivalant dosage to 50mg Viagra? I've read a lot of the posts comparing them and, I appreciate Cialis has a longer effective time window, but consensus seems to be 10mg Cialis but some folk suggest 20mg. Cheers

When I switched from Viagra to Cialis, I started with 10 mg. Nowadays it's 20 mg, don't know if I've developed a tolerance or if it's increasing age. I buy generic 40 mg pills and divide them into two, and that's roughly equal to 50 mg Viagra for me. Individuals will vary in response and metabolism, so if you're not sure I'd suggest you try 10 mg first and go higher if it's not effective. I find either drug works better on an empty stomach and avoid heavy meals or alcohol consumption beforehand.

By the way, there are WGs on aw who offer to sell Viagra tabs at £5 or more. Now that it's readily available over the counter, no need to pad their pockets.

Thanks for the reply. I found 25mg Viagra worked fine for me whenever I've used it, but I've always wondered about "Le Weekend". Might try 5mg to begin with. Cheers

I saw Lloyds pharamcy in Sainsburys also sell viagra over the counter. Quite expensive though. Can't remember how much but think it was something like £30 for 4 tablets. Maybe that's normal though I'm not sure

With the questionnaire do they require / check your name / address etc?

I cannot remembered if they asked for name and address, I think not. Maybe they asked for email to try and get you on their mailing list. They didn't ask for ID, so you can make these up if it's an issue. I don't look under 18 either, so no proof of age was required.

What is Viagra connect?
Is it just Viagra?
Just wondering why it is connect

3 years ago I was in Dubai and was pleasantly surprised to see you could buy viagra over the counter at the Boots franchise in the Dubai Mall. Needless to say I stocked up in anticipation of a rather overpriced booking with a favorite porn star at the time.

I've always used Lloyds pharmacy online with a prepaid credit card

Viagra Connect is available over the counter at "chemists" Boots, Lloyds Pharmacy and several independent chemists where I live. Cost for 4 50mg pills is around £30. Lloyds pharmacy charge £28.50 for 4 100mg Pfizer Viagra on a private prescription from your GP. Generic sidenafil goes for 8 to 10 quid from places like asda or it was a few months ago when I last bought some. I now have a reliable source for 100mg genuine viagra so I buy from them.

Greatly daring I went into the local Boots and ordered a packet of Viagra. The young girl didn't bat an eyelid, and then the pharmacist appeared and took me into a "kiosk" for an interview. He was remarkably professional about it, and there was nothing unpleasant at all. Simply a recommendation that if you have heart problems don't use them. No asking for either name and address or doctor's name. Paid £20 cash for 4 pills.

Used the first one and it was fairly effective, but the second one worked brilliantly.

Have to recommend this for anybody om my age who has a problem (60 +) and in particular it was great today for anal - hard as steel!!

I got 4 Levitra 10mg on prescription from my doctor. I have never tried Levitra before, I have in the past used Viagra and Ciallis with varying degrees of success. Is their any punters who have used Levitra and can speak about their experiences of if they were any good and how effective they were and maybe how it differs from Viagra and Ciallis. Also i found with Viagra and Ciallis that orgasm was harder to achieve, is this the same with Levitra? Also does it help to stay hard after orgasm for a 2nd pop?

Thanks for this - I'm almost 54 and sometimes struggle to get going. I thought that I'd give it a try - I walked into my local Boots and had to fill in the questionaire in a busy part of the store. Got a pack of 8 for £35.
Tried it last week for the 1st time - I just took half a tablet about an hour before the punt. I certainly got harder than normal but I came too quick - I don't think I need it yet. The problem is I struggle to get hard if the WG is unresponsive which can be the case in parlour punts - I really need a GFE these days and then I have no problems

Hi redfox, thanks for the post. Usually, Viagra doesn't make you come faster. You tend to get hard more easily, as you noted, and stay hard without coming. Once you do come, you usually recover faster and can go a second time on Viagra.
Individual responses will vary, I'd suggest playing around with the dose. I sometimes bite off one end, and use one pill for 3 or 4 punts.

Hi Analist, I think that the cumming to quick is probably my problem - when I was younger I had problems with PE not so much these days. Yes I'll try it again - I've got 7.5 tablets left so I may as well!

It's only called Connect as a licensing thing - So Connect you can get over the counter but just Viagra is prescription only.  As mention it is very expansive for what it is, private script for pack of 4 should set you back about £2-3.  On the other hand you don't need to see a GP/do the online thing.  There's no name or address taken, the form is just to make sure you haven't had a stroke in the last 5 minutes (despite having a load of questions on it).  The pharmacist should give you a slip from the form so you can just rock up somewhere, show them the ticket and you can avoid the form filling again.

i have used Levitra.  Usually get 20mg tabs but only need a third of tab.  Works within 40 minutes and overall effect can last 36-48 hours, which is great.  Also tend to stay hard for about 5 mins after cumming which is nice :)  Get tabs from docfox without difficulty

Thanks for this info on Levitra. I have got 4 10mg and havent had the chance to use them sounds like they are more like Cialis than Viagra.

There was a chap where I used to work got some Viagra for him and his wife, the weekend came he took a Viagra pill< nothing happened waited a couple of hours still nothing so he took a second pill, after a while he started reading the piece of paper that came with the pills and it said under no circumstances should two pills be taken on the same day, the result he had to have two days off work because he could not get rid of the huge bulge in his trousers everyone at work thought it hilarious.
