Can you punt via Twitter?

I have just seen that a lady I am thinking of meeting is on Twitter. I assume the whole world can use Twitter so it is an unsafe medium of communication. I assume I must ask her, if I do meet her, not to twit about meeting me if we do.

If you follow someone then your name is revealed I assume. Can one have 2 accounts, a public one and a pseudonym one? I do not know much about it and it looks incomprehensible on the rare occasions I looked in. I want to delete myself and maybe start again there. How?

If she is discrete why would she tweet about individual meetings with punters, i would establish that before i booked her. I certainly wouldnt use twatter for punting or indeed for any other reason personally.

You can have as many accounts as you want

You can protect your tweets so only you and those that you allow to follow you

You can easily delete your account on account settings

You can send her DM a message and ask for her number but twitter seems a place for fluffy buggers to arse lick escorts and women in general who are desperate for attention and affirmation

You can link twitter accounts and use which one you want without having to sign in and out all the time .

Tbh is sounds like a security nightmare to me, what's wrong with old fashioned text or emails. If you press a wrong button then all the followers could see attempts to arrange a punt. Is it worth the risk.

+1. I'd rather be burnt alive than use twitter or Facebook anyway but too many pitfalls for this kind of shit. My boss keeps on to me about social media for disseminating work etc but I think I'd need at least 2 accounts if I did. Wouldn't want to mix personal and professional lives. There seems to be quite a few WG who publicise their careers via twitter. I certainly wouldn't communicate via twitter with a WG. Fuck that

Be very careful - I have sep twitter punting acct to follow WGs etc but make sure settings are set so fb/twitter etc cannot share info

Don't link a personal Twitter acc and a punting one because they will be LINKED.

If you are going to have a Twitter account for punting set up a separate one with a completely different email address (for the uber paranoid try External Link/Members Only).

Even then it's possible for somebody, if bothered, to connect the two.

Unless you have (and continue to keep) all the privacy settings set up properly and lots of no-tracking addons installed across all your devices Twitter knows where you are.

It's a minefield - unless you are 100% sure you know what you're doing DON'T.

As always be careful what you do on the Internet or one day it may come back and bite you on the arse.

You can punt via twitter I follow loads of pornstars and escorts. If they follow you back you can DM them. Usually they'll give you their adultwork page, a contact number or e-mail to actually finalise things.
Although my punting persona does, the 'real me' doesn't use twitter so I have little to worry about there. Plus up until recently I really enjoyed seeing Vine videos in my timeline.

I think I shall avoid it, I opened a Twitter account for work some time ago and never used it. But suddenly I realised that something in this lady's AW account was a Twitter account name and there she was with loads of photos. I shall wait until the meeting does or does not happen before posting more.

I always try and make AW dates by email or cellphone and avoid using their own appointments system but some ladies insist. I agree that many people who use Twitter can make a twit of themselves and of other people unintentionally as well as with intent.

And even if they are separate you can run them in the Twitter app at the same time but do remember which one you are in. Followed a load of porn and escort users and afterwards realised I was in the wrong account. Of course any one can see who you are following if it's not protected - never deleted them so quick.

iPhone/iPad users also need to watch out because if you don't log out it also puts a load of porn and escort links in your Safari web browser which can catch you out.

To be honest it's not much use for organising a punt because even personal messages can only be as long as a tweet - by the time you've put the date and time in there's not much room for anything else like special requests. Better off by text or email.

OK for collecting web/AW addresses, seeing what they are like or checking if potential punts are genuine as I don't think gallery fakes would go to the trouble.

Think the opportunity for fucking things up on twitter is enormous.  I'm not that tekkie & even if i was then i can see a disaster looming when going on there having had the odd drink or seven.  Who needs FB when you've got UKP
However find that the photos on twitter are often selfies & updated regularly.  Plus some of the girlies show short videos
No need to communicate via twitter - too much risk.  It's an absolute dead-cert that if a girlie is on twitter then she'll be easy to search up on goggle
