 I am a mature punter (approaching 70 to be precise) and before punts I have been taking Cialis. I usually do 1 hour bookings and I have no problem with the first pop but try as I might the dick simply does not want to participate in a second pop. I have even had an SP sucking my dick to death to try and raise it for round 2 but it will not get beyond the semi erect state. My questions to those punters who use viagra are -

1.    Does your dick always go hard for the punt ?

Very sound advice, when I was prescribed Sildenafil the doc told me to just come back if there were any problems and he would look at alternatives. Don't take Cialis and Sildenafil at the same time unless your doctor tells you it's OK.

I'm the far side of 70 from you, redally, and had been on 100 mg - working up through the various strengths - of GP-prescribed Viagra for about 10 years until about 3 years ago, I found similar symptoms to those that you describe you're suffering. So I went to see one of the Doctors at my Health Centre about the problem. My brief answers to your questions are: 1] Yes; & 2] It sometimes needs a bit of coercion.

However, I thought a bit of background might be helpful. The Health Centre where I'm a patient is associated with the local University's Trainee GP course. In the 15 years I've been a patient there, I've learned that while GPs can be wonderful, Trainee GPs can be even better because they're younger and want to learn. So the Trainee GP I saw when Viagra stopped being as effective as it had been, went back to first principles and looked in the Formulary. Where we discovered that 20 mg of Cialis - the dose I'm on now - is, if I remember rightly, twice the strength of 100 mg of Viagra.

The boxes in which both of these tablets er, 'come' emphasise that sexual stimulation is essential for best effect.

So two thoughts occur to me: is it worth asking your GP whether there would be any harmful effects if you took 2 tablets before copulation; and are you aware of any psychological reason why you can't get properly hard for Round 2? If I see a new SP & have difficulty at that stage of a meet, I explain that I had a very old-fashioned R.C. upbringing. Thanks guys for all your responses - I think I agree with the fact that i am an old arse and should be happy with one pop. I am seriously considering the half hour punts instead of the one hour variety as it seems a waste of money and the 30 mins. punt means you can get two for one. The near certainty is that she is using all that thrusting, grinding and cries of "I`m coming" simply to get you to pop quickly, then she`s done her job and given you what you paid for - particularly if you have already confessed to being a one-pop guy.

The remedy is will power, grit your teeth and hang on; don`t go at it hammer and tongs, pace yourself and hold back with your own efforts and the urgency to pop will ease. Then you can really start to enjoy yourself. Imo, no; not necessarily, redally. You're paying for your satisfaction and popping quickly may not give a punter - perhaps especially a punter of our age - as much satisfaction as taking things nice and steadily.

Is your Regular as good as you say if she's "trying to make [you] pop quick"? That may be what she wants but is is what you want? Have you sufficient confidence in your working relationship with her to discuss what you want from a session with her? I saw my last Regular once a month or so for about 5 years; and, looking back, I'd say it took about 18 months before I had that sort of conversation with her.

Thanks HJ. The regular in question is very good and we have had a couple of extended sessions. Pop , lunch and then another pop. She is no spring chicken but she is very enjoyable.
