I used to punt a lot, but have eased off massively over the last few years. Anyway, I know the ropes. Never had a successful punt on adultwork but thought I'd try a reverse booking. Offered a good price, top notch west end hotel etc. Got loads of bids, and decided to accept one. She had no facial pics but everything ticked my boxes. Also , her comms, reviews and English were good, so looking forward to it.
Anyway, cut to the chase. Lunchtime, logged into aw, just to look , and there is an email from her asking if we can move the meeting to an hour later. Usual guff . "Is that ok , hun?" Err, no. its far from ok. I'm busy, have a window, have clients to meet later, so , no. She then gets moderately arsey as if it's my fault.
I don't much care. I've never met her, never will now but she was getting a few hundred quid for an hour in a Hilton, and it's my fault that she now isn't. Apparently. I'll have wank instead and she is £300 poorer.

Never had a successful punt off A/W, wow, if that were me I would immediately pack punting in, there are countless good reviews on WGs off A/W on here obviously.

I have had this off WGs including recently and as she accepted my booking but didn't honour it I did a negative review which you can do if you wish naming and shaming this low life as she deserves in my view. I have a zero tolerance policy nowadays so if a punt doesn't happen due to a WGs bollocks excuses it will result in a negative.

Yes well UKP isn't those sites and the review rules are different fortunately to the first site you mention. On here money doesn't have to change hands, all that has to happen is a WG accepts your booking, if she doesn't honour it a review can be done. Please name and shame this WG so other punters know who to avoid.

I had some similair shit the other week using the AW reverse booking system. I posted my reverse booking nearly a week in advance and got a more than 30 bids.
48 hours before contact my chosen bidder. Nearly 24 hours passses and she eventually replies to inform me that she is now unavailable that evening! WTF why did the feckless bitch bid then  So then I am left scratching around the runner up bidders at short notice  In the end I abandoned it and went to a local parlour spending a third of what I planned and had a perfectly ball draining satisfactory time!

whether to review is your decision - but the usual protocol on here is that if they break an appointment it is a negative.  Not hard and fast and as I say up to you.

I would review if it was me as I would consider it to be the WG messing about at the 11th hour and getting all arsy when a punter cannot do an alternative time given.

This is why I hate it when WGs reschedule or cancel as the whole matter just gets unnecessarily drawn out long and complicated. Thus the WG would just automatically dismiss the punter as a timewaster and not bother responding after a while. Wrongly!!

I was in the same boat as you, had a booking confirmed and then let down. I didn't review, and then other punters were let down by this girl. I've since submitted one.
Reviews like this alert other punters to flaky service providers (particularly at that hourly rate!!!!) and encourage the girls to up their game as we won't stand for this sort of shit.
