Resizing photos?

Can someone explain how I resize photos please, I link a few from aw but they are massive and need to be reduced, tried img=200 but that didn't work

The easiest way is to use the paint program on Windows to resize.

Like the above - using square brackets instead of the round ones I've used.

height=100 or height=xxx  or whatever - fiddle with it using the preview button

I upload them to postimg.org (it's free, requires no login and allows adult content). You can then copy / paste with the click of a button from a selection of different link 'prefabs', I use the 'Thumbnail for Forums (1)'. When pasted into my reviews it shows a thumbnail but allows viewers to click it for a full size image.

Takes about 15 seconds.

If you are taking the image off the web then you only need the web address of the image, usually ending in jpg though several other formats also work, then just add your width= to the img tag supplied with the UKP emoticons.

If it's something on your hard drive, you need to upload it somewhere first, and also if it is online but doesn't have a separate picture address. An advantage of Imgur is that you can add a Firefox browser extension that does it automatically. Right click for crop marks and right click again to upload, then paste the direct link into UKP inside the img tags (which is what I did on the kamagra thread a few minutes ago!)

I was adding an aw link into img but it was really big so you had to scroll around it and wanted to reduce, I appreciate the help guys thanks again

Isn't it just easier to view the pics in some sort of basic generic photo viewer that just fits the images to screen irrespective of how big or small the image is?
