Briefly - How much do you think punting will change come 2016?

Do you think that punting in the UK will be made illegal due to the legislation being brought out in Northern Ireland? Do you think with the rise of standards in consumers of companionship that the quality of service will rise with it ? Or simply be as it has always been.

What are your predictions?

I think things will broadly stay the same in 2016. Northern Ireland is still stuck in the 1950's in many ways, so I am not surprised that a ban is being passed there. If the next election ends in a Hung Parliament, there is no way such a measure would pass at Westminster. Labour and the Tories would be split over the issue and the Lib Dems and UKIP would be largely against making it illegal.

On 21 October, when I checked when this subject last came up, there were AW profiles for 154 women in NI offering escort services.

And NI doesn't legislate for the rest of the country so it is not necessarily going to follow it will be banned here.
