id say doing that with a stranger is unwise and best avoided for a host of reasons. It might be more possible doing it with a girl you know but still id say be very cautious , people tend to just look at it like the only danger is from the guy being predatory but us guys should be aware its risky cos the girl could be a complete psycho and make your life hell. I one time let a girl come live with me , at first it was strictly on a business rent room for money basis , then she suggested we get together and basically we carve her housing benefit 50/50 , which i was ok with as the whole reason was that i liked her. Anyway she started telling me what to do and acting like she owned the place and zero sex which was half due to her being frosty and half me being cautious anyway that actually was a good thing in hindsight. Anyway i was left in a kind of unsatisfactory limbo , i even had her mum phoning me up saying her daughter needs more privacy , like wtf , it was like waklking on eggshells , but fortunately i managed to get rid of her.
In future id say if your gonna let a girl stay with you just do it with no strings , like just do it to help her out like let her stay for a couple of weeks and then the expectation is , unless somethings changes , that she will find somewhere else. Maybe something changes like she jumps into bed with you or maybe you just enjoy having her around and helping her out and you get on and you can let it go as long as it works , but from a guy pov id say be v cautious.
