Does what it says on the tin? The 20ml Viagra giving me bloody heartburn, and once a stiffy don't last that long. I get my stiffy tabs from Medexpress. Looking for an alternative, Tadalafil apparently does the job? At a price a lot cheaper too.
So guys, any out there been using it? Not so much heartburn and stiff till the end? Can cope with the heartburn thanks to Gaviscon, but wasting my bucks if can't keep it up.......

Yes. I've posted elsewhere on here that when, after 10 years or so, my 4-weekly NHS prescription for 100 mg Viagra was no longer doing the business for me, I went back to the local GPs where I saw a trainee GP from the Manchester University medical school who was on placement. She went back to first principles and looked in the Formulary [sp?] where she found that 20 mg of Tadalafil should be more effective. And it has been! :yahoo:

The only side effect I've noticed is that on the morning after a punt, I usually wake up with a 'semi' on. Unfortunately, I don't feel sufficiently affluent - or with enough stamina! - for punting on consecutive days!

Due to probably age and def a combination of daily drugs I required chemical help for ED. Unfortunately my medical problems were not within the parameters for an NHS free prescription, even though my Doctors acknowledged that my daily prescribed medicine was part if not all of the cause of my ED.
My Doctor was quite happy to write me a private prescription with no charge and at first I tried Sildenafil bought in Boots with the private prescription at the cost of £1 per tablet which was a good saving over their over the counter Viagra Connect. This gave me a list of side effects, headaches and severe flushing included.  Prior to this I had tried the Superdrug in store collection service which was excellent but offset by the high cost of the tablets.
So it was back to the Doc who then prescribed 20mg Tadalafil and 8 tablets in Boots with this prescription cost me £8. I found after a bit of experimenting that I was able to split these with a pill splitter with a result that suited me down to the ground, indeed the effects can be found to be still felt on the third day after taking the tablet, a result.
On one visit to the Doc he enquired about the price I was being charged and when I told him he doubled the amount to 16 tablets as he was going on holiday for an extended period. To my surprise I was charged only £12 in my local Boots. This is now my normal prescription and out of interest I used a local High Street Chemist and was charged £1 per tablet.
I would advise any member here to hide their embarrassment and talk to your GP re the matter. As can be seen in my previous post I also now enjoy my encounters with the young lady pharmacist who seems intrigued by the effects of this drug.  :yahoo:

I stand corrected on the price please see the attached original post plus till receipt for my original purchase:

Hi Guys used a private prescription and was charged £7.00 for 8x 100mg Sildenafil at a local branch of Boots in Northern Ireland not that that should make any difference, I enquired how much they would be before I let them dispense them.  6 weeks ago I was charged £10.00 at another family run chemist for 8X 50mg Sildenafil. again using a private prescription which my doctor did not charge me for on either occasion. See attached JPG.
Took the bull buy the horns and asked the Doc straight out was I able to get a private script and he not only gave me one but said the next time I could try Tadalafil the next time if I wished.  The big added bonus being the price and the fact that he passed me fit to use both drugs.

Horrible stuff  :sarcastic: :sarcastic: IMHO as it keeps me going for 3 days  :yahoo: :yahoo: and costs me a fortune as a consequence.  :dash: :dash:

Being serioys I prefer Levitra aka vardenafil as its just as effective and doesn't last more then 6 to 8 hours.
