Was just curious if anyone ever has. Despite what places or docs say here, 2 experts on STD's on medhelp pretty much say unprotected oral is virtually safe sex.

They say biologically its not an easy way to transmit an infection, unlike vaginal or anal intercourse. But no one on here would do bareback anyway right. In there right minds

It is pretty much the opposite I think. Any form of sex without protection is risky....

You can check lots of articles about that on the internet. For example: External Link/Members Only

I was also several times in GUM clinics and they said the same thing. Do everything with protection. However its up to us to decide how far are we willing to go for extra pleasure which is OWO. I myself have never done bareback punt and will never do because its disgusting, but as for OWO most of the times I choose to go with it.

As for your original question, I personally know people who got STIs from OWO, hopefully nothing serious and they are all good now. Although is rare to get STIs from just OWO, unfortunately it happens  :unknown:

P.S. I think I saw a post recently about a punter saying he caught STIs from OWO and he is done with punting. Try to search it up

Yes definitely I have done a lot more  :D I, myself haven't had any problems from OWO. However you have to be wise in most cases. If you are going to get and OWO from soho girls (I know they dont do it but Im just saying) its a very bad idea because you have a bigger risk of something going not good, in other cases I think OWO should not be a problem but we never know for sure :( I went to GUM clinic and checked myself recently and thank god everything is fine  :) If you are an active punter it is good to visit GUM maybe every month or every 2 month just to feel more secure  ;)

P.S. It is more risky for a WG to give OWO and her getting infected rather than catching something from OWO if you are on the receiving end  ;)

I keep hearing that but I caught one from it and lots of other members came forward to say the same thing. So I hate to burst your bubble but catching something from OWO is perhaps not as rare as you claim.

More bollocks. Where does this information come from? Is it just based on your own gut reaction/wishful thinking again :D
Please do not post sexual health advice without quoting a source. Better still direct anyone who asks about levels of risk to discuss it at their nearest sexual health clinic.

ALL punting holds a risk and punters have to decide what risks they are prepared to take. These experts you mention are dangerous idiots giving out incorrect advice, GUM advice apart from not punting at all is ALWAYS practice safe sex so OW, advice I ignore as I require OWO and haven't caught anything as of yet though aren't complacent that I wont.

This is what they told me in GUM clinic so I don't know what are you talking about. As for the risks of OWO I agree, probably its even more frequent than people might think...

And like I said again, its better to go to GUM clinic frequently to check yourself and feel more secure

From what I vaguely remember reading somewhere years ago, was that STD's can live at the back of the throat for a little while, so OWO and especially deep throat can actually transmit the disease which may have been picked up from OWO with another client.

I've had both gonorrhoea from OWO and molluscum contagiosum from protected intercourse (it's transmitted skin to skin just by bumping crotches). All within about 10 mths of punting activity which included regular GUM clinic visits and almost exclusively seeing well reviewed escorts on here.

STI's are an occupational hazard both for escorts and punters. You absolutely cannot guarantee avoiding them even if you switch to OW. Even a HJ can transmit some STI's.

If you can't afford to have any STI simply dont punt. As others will tell you punting is not for the faint hearted.
It's all about risk management in my view. As I was single when punting I was not overly concerned by my infections.

Since having a regular gf I no longer punt so my only risk is the gf giving me something.  :kissgirl:

So true. Lots of STIs need only skin contact to transmit. Its scary if you think about it but I agree, punting is all about taking the risks... I know that gonorrhea is curable but have not heard about the other one. I hope you are well mate. Safe punting everyone  :hi:

I have and it wasn't pleasant, but I just popped into the local GUM clinic and described my symptoms and I was given antibiotics. Worked like a charm.

The risk of catching STI/STDs from OWO is similar with unprotected intercourse because all you need to catch one is the exchange of bodily fluids which can occur in so many ways. The real big problem is unprotected anal which increases risk of catching a STI/STD exponentially because you get small micro tears which then allow for exchange of bodily such as infected blood.

Obviously the big one is HIV, but even if you did unprotected sex (-anal) with a HIV+ escort then chances of catching it are very low. Generally the chances of catching a STI/STD from an escort is surprisingly low due to the fact that both respecting parties are likely to get continually tested for one reason or another.  :)

OK what did you have? Been told Chlamydia is impossible via owo but gonorrhea is possible.

GUM clinic told me people can say an infection can have no symptoms, but generally you have symptoms in men 95% of the time. They also said if no symptoms within 5-10 days then chance is all fine.

Not fussed about herpes or anything else as would know by now. Main thing im worried about is gonorrhea

So you think WGs are likely to get tested on a regular basis, I don't agree most do as I don't think most punters get tested regularly either.

The GUM staff consistently tell me BB penetration is riskier than OWO but not to do either and not to punt at all, obviously I don't take that advice.

I have already posted I haven't above though I wont be getting complacent and never think it wont happen as it could.

Offline rockharders

I caught an NSU (non specific uthretis) infection from OWO, it was just as bad as an STD. I can assure you the risk is there.

Unprotected intercourse is seen as more risky and most likely it is but OWO is just as risky. Obviously both carry a certain amount of risk but if you partake in this hobby people should then get tested regularly there is honestly no excuse for people not to.

doesn't make a lot of sense,I'm the same sentence you have said bb is seen as more risky but that owo is just as risky.

It is a fact that bb is riskier but a degree of risk remains with owo

Certainly some STIs like gonorrhea and herpes are considered much easier to catch through OWO than others.  As I understand it Chlamydia is quite rare to catch orally and HIV appears even more so.

The problem remains that it's almost impossible to quantify the risk. You take a gamble either way and even switching to OW does not remove all risk as some STI's don't need oral or vaginal contact to spread.

As has been said many times, the only risk free punt is no punt at all.  Same is true for civvy sex of course - any sex act has some risk, you just have to decide what level of risk is acceptable to you.

This is absolutely correct. A WG (and homosexual men) can contract STDs from deep throating an infected penis and will then rretransmit it to a penis that they deep throat later on. I was told this in a GUM clinic by one of the doctors.

Also, just to throw something else into the mix, I was advised that if I wished to continue seeing EE girls I should be inoculated against Hep B because it's very common in that group. Since a disproportionate number of WGs are from Hungary (at least in London) it's something I am thinking I should do.

As I said this is not theoretical - got gonorrhoea transmitted exactly this way from a WG last year. She had no symptoms and no idea she had the infection til I told her.

In fact she insisted it couldn't possibly be her, but got tested anyway and had gonorrhoea in the throat ONLY.

She was very apologetic and eventually made it up to me.  :D

Yes, I contracted an STD via OWO. It was not from a working girl.

I am getting to the point where I want to ask the WG to do oral with cover. But then most of the time the little me is already in their mouth before I say anything. so i really feel bad

maybe one day I will tell them before handing over the cash  :wackogirl:

Yes you should,I am currently having the jabs and the advice is that all responsible punters should get it

So if you get inoculated for Hep B what does it help against? and how long does it last? I start to think it would be vise to consider this thing

hepatitis b? I understand though I may be wrong that once you complete the vaccination you are immune for life

Hep b can lead to liver cancer

Offline Hertsgent

If you complete the vaccinations and have a blood test to check you have a response, then I believe it is at least 10 years protection. Then they can check again if you are still protected, and if not, jab you again - I had mine years ago and still have protection from a more recent test. Definitely worth getting if you can......

Sounds like something that would help me feel more secure while punting. How many jabs does the whole procedure take? Also is it free? Any other information I should know?
