Does AW create an alias based on the IP address, past cookies or what?

For certain reasons, that dont need explaining, I would like to create t a second profile, but need it unassociated with my main one.
I was planning to use the second account on the ipad rather than my main PC.

It was established previously its done by cookies.

So its best to have one internet browser; such as Chrome, for one account and another; Such as Firefox, for the other and to be safe only ever sign in with that one browser to that one account.
