I just want to say...just don't be stupid ...like me . I'm now in a situation where if i wanted a rub and tug...i cant as i don't want to spread whatever ive got and second, what right minded SP would see me with these marks. all that coupled with the fact i cant get a GUM appointment its worrying the hell out of me..

There are antibiotics that can sort this plus you need screening.

If he gets tested for the top 4 (gon, chlamydia, hiv and syphilis) the postal test may just come back negative for them, but not tell him what he does have, so a face to face meeting is what's needed.

Not sure where you are but in London the GUM clinic will see you if you are symptomatic. If you can't get through but can see your GP they should refer you if they think its an STD.

Have you tried the NHS? I got testing in Jan 21 at the height of lockdown in a clinic. Service was free, called and  just booked appointment. All very discrete.

Sorry to hear that, fella.  have caught an STI once (Gonorrhoea) from someone who promised they had been checked. Years later i was being begged to go bareback with someone (who also gets ‘checked) and thankfully didn’t; they later tell me they got tested positive for chlamydia! I got tested just incase.

For the risk of a nicer feel, it’s just not worth it. Especially when you get that ‘ive got something to tell you’ text, or a symptom comes about and you get that sinking feeling.

Having said that, if it is a skin condition then a condom does not always protect you from it (Herpes, HPV etc) as the infection may come into contact with your groin.

SP's for sure have more of a risk - but they're more aware of it and ensure they take proper precautions.  It will affect their livelihood if they get an STI.

I’m not going to go into specific details, because I believe it is against the rules of the forum and it was a while ago, but I have been unfortunate in the past and caught a dose from an SP. Never from civies. Before anyone asks, it definitely was an SP and I know who it was. Given I’d not had any sexual contact with anyone else for a while, it could only have been this SP. She’s a well reviewed SP as well, not some dodgy skank.

On the view that SP’s take more care with their sexual health, I did the right thing when I got the positive test result and told the SP in question. Her response was basically “Fuck off, it can’t be me. You must have been fucking someone else. I get tested regularly and I’m clean”. I didn’t argue with her, what’s the point. But I did keep an eye on her profile and she continued to rack up reviews from punters. I don’t know if she bothered to get tested or not, but she certainly carried on fucking clients. Personally it put me of punting for 6 months.

Following my test I got treated and subsequent tests have been all clear. But a lesson learnt, there’s only one person responsible for your sexual health and that’s you.

Edit - I’ve just checked who I’ve reviewed in the past. The SP in question isn’t on my list. Of course it would have been a negative from me, although the punt itself was actually lots of fun, just the aftermath. If you are someone who has sex with multiple partners, whether escorts or civvies, and notice any issues with potential STIs or other genital problems, then you need to visit your local GUM clinic (or preferred alternative) asap. The macho "it'll go away" approach to health problems doesn't work.

Thanks for the interest, we'll Dr didn't think it was Herpes ...had the swabs down the Japs eye and blood test. I thought I'd get a text with results within a week but nothing. At the time I was told to make an appointment to go back as it maybe something more dermatological, or maybe my dick is gonna drop off.
