Not sure if I can post this as meet never happened, please remove if so?
Was in Cornwall last week for a rare visit, as usual a real lack of choice but saw this one had a green light on:
External Link/Members Only
Texted to check availability with time and booking length, she replied that she was available with rough area given as it's a little bit out in the sticks, I confirmed all ok and booking agreed. This is where it goes wrong... She then asks my name for the booking, which I gave her and she replied with 'Um, so I don't see *insert my name here* because of bad experiences, I have had bad experiences with all *my name*, sorry'. I replied that i have positive feedback on aw from previous bookings and offered to book through there so she could see, but she wasn't interested.
Whilst I do sympathise if she has had previous bad experiences, this is a sweeping generalisation of people with my name! Not sure if she received a more lucrative booking in that time but all messages were responded to quickly, within about 30 minutes in total. Disappointed as was looking forward to it. Unfortunately I won't give my first name for confidentiality, I hope this is ok.

the rule of something being a formal review is that a booking / appointment must have been made and accepted by both parties. This sounds like it might be a bit "grey" and in between,

FWIW i would say that if this was in one phone call / message session :
you: are you free at 7.00pm today
her: yes
you: great
her : whats your name
you: Fred
her: sorry i don't see anyone called Fred.

then that is not an agreed booking. But you comments can be on the regional discussion board.

If the "whats you name" bit was a later, separate phone call or message session then in my view that was a booking which she subsequently cancelled and thus it can be a formal review"

If you confirm which it was, a forum helper can move it if it needs moving.

He does say this:

I confirmed all ok and booking agreed

Hi,
I agree it is a bit grey, basically it was a message session over 30 minutes which went something like this:
Me: i asked if an appointment was available for a certain time and duration
Reply: Yes I am available, my postcode is ....If this postcode is ok, please confirm if you want to go ahead?
Me: Yes please, all good for me.
Reply: Ok, will book you in. What name can I use for the booking?
All downhill after that! Like I said, if not acceptable please delete or move.
Thanks

very grey - maybe not a formally accepted booking as it all occurred in one continuous message session (and if the comms had been by phone call would be in one conversation). Therefore it may not qualify as a formal review but hey, perhaps it would be a bit pedantic to "down grade it" and move it to regional discussions.   However if anyone disagrees with me then "report" the post and a Mod can decide. IMO the important bit is to record the fact that she declined because of a name.

Op - can you give a bit more information as to why she declined. Does your name suggest that you might be from a ethnic background or similar?  was it your name or phone number ? - could your number be listed on xxx (heck i have forgotten the name of app that WG's use to record info/warnings on punters numbers. Can anyone remind me please?).

Anyway Op - any more information as to WHY she declined your name would be useful!

My name is isn't unusual in any way, in fact it is a fairly common male name in the UK and would not in any way suggest I am of any ethnicity/race or from a particular region of the world. My number isn't blacklisted or named on the site you suggest (which I know of and have seen) and I have impeccable feedback from any previous meets which makes it more baffling that she wouldn't even look at a booking through AW!
I consider myself clean, polite and respectful and have feedback to back that up, so no reason to be on a warning list. Very confused by it all...

It sounds like there’s something more to this. Surely an escort can’t be that thick to 100% take the punter’s name as his real name?

And to then go further and state it’s a normal non-ethnic name makes it even stranger why she’d cancel the booking. Not that I’m condoning racism or refusing bookings from certain ethnicities but if that was the case then at least it would be more understandable.

Surely an escort’s screening isn’t as illogical as “if your name’s Dave, then I’m not seeing you”?

So, what I’m guessing is somehow OP you have a black mark against you. Maybe you have a report against your phone number on Saafe, clienteye or NUM?

Finally, for what it’s worth, I don’t think this was a fully confirmed booking as it was very much all part of the initial comms. Had there been some pause in comms before she came back with the rejection, then maybe so.

I understand what you are saying, but there is absolutely no reason why my number would be on any of the above that you have stated. I posted this as I feel this was such a bizarre reason for cancelling/not going through with a meet.
To quote the above 'Surely an escort’s screening isn’t as illogical as “if your name’s Dave, then I’m not seeing you”?
Well, she said 'I don't see *my name* as I have had a bad experience with every*my name* I have met' that is literally word for word!
Maybe there is more to it, my theory is a better offer came in. Thought I would put it out there, as to me it shows she is flakey.
As I have said previously, please remove if not considered a booking.
Cheers

I’m not saying you’re a wrong un, only you know that. But in any case it is still possible to have a black mark against you if perhaps you messed an escort about, cancelled on her at short notice or such like and she didn’t want to give you that reason.

Or what you said about getting a better offer could be on the money and she made up that shit reason.

Whatever is the truth, it really is an illogical reason!

I’d say it’s a confirmed booking ?

You're not the only one who's had problems with this woman, I have too & with pretty similar messaging.
I had a confirmed booking with her but a day before the meet I got a similar message-all because I gave negative feedback about an escort in Plymouth who did not answer her phone when I arrived for a meet with her. This woman then gave me negative feedback in return-Kitty English took exception to me having the audacity to leaving negative feedback about one of her fellow escorts.

Needless to say, I won't leave negative feedback on AW again-UKPunting is the place for that if I have to  do that.
