I always find “Tips” in general an odd mix  :unknown: I tip a bar staff for pulling a beer or a taxi driver but wouldn’t tip the nurse or doctor who attended to my health care.

I always give WG a tip £10 for excellent service occasionally £20 when it’s exceptional, I’ve found just like tipping a waiter or waitress when you return the service is 5 star, anyone else tip WG’s

When I punted Soho walkups an obligatory tip was expected. Now if I'm seeing an escort that charges from £150+ then they can do one with regards to tips. Like going to a barber, repeat custom is more worth it than a 10 or 20 quid tip.

A huge absolute no from me with tipping SPs that are most likely paid 10x the hourly rate as punters.
I only tip service staff that are underpaid but still go out their way to make the service good for me. My barber takes almost 45 mins to cut my hair so I always leave him a nice tip.

I don't tip simply for the fact that it makes it awkward.

AW profile states £60 half hour, I give her £70 or £80 and she says "oh really are you sure?" And then I feel like a little simp puss boy saying "yes of course babe!"

I wish there was some other way to tip them as I really don't like doing it.

🤣🤣
Same with gifting lingeries and chocolates , for fuck sakes , treating an SP like a gf is a huge no no.
I’ve read plenty of post on SAAFE about SPs flogging expensive wines on the Bay and wearing that special lingerie their “favourite” customer bought them for other clients 😭😭

Rarely ever tip as do not see the need IMO. Last time I did it was around Xmas!

Offline Gordy555

Never given a tip to an SP. Always just take the exact amount agreed. If I finish early and chat for 10 minutes or leave early, that's a tip!

Offline dkn

Why, oh, why does anyone tip anyone, anywhere?

Pure madness...

Offline chadpitt

This isn't America and I've never tipped.

The WGs reward is continued customer loyalty as there is plenty of fish in the sea.

It’s not the norm for me and as others say. If I’m paying £150 an hour then I definitely don’t see why an extra £10 is going to be needed.

Saying that. I have tipped the couple of oriental massage girls I used to see. A £10 or a £5 (I usually just carry the punting cash required) simply because they gave a little bit more in the way of service.

Tipping in civvie street....... only if the service is good.
Tipping in the states is well written about. But I’ve left places without leaving a gratuity cos the service has been shit.

Remember: they almost certainly earn far more per hour in their chosen career than you do in yours. If you still think they deserve a tip for doing their job then you need your head looking at  :unknown:

This has been done to death but the best tip you can give any SP is repeat custom. A solicitor charges similar hourly rates so would you tip them if they did an excellent job.  :unknown:

Just looked down the list at the recent new threads and you start off some decent discussions OP.

- Emotional attachment to SP
- Exchanging services
- Tipping

I've only ever tipped a SP once and think it was extra 10er on a 30 min at £60 or something. She really went all out extracting 2 cum loads and being exceptionally friendly and chatty (without it seeming forced or OTT.)

Never tipped again as she's the benchmark and and although had some really good punts since then, nothing close to it so she's done me a favour  :D

Oh and in regards to tipping in general life I wouldn't quite say I'm Mr Pink in Reservoir Dogs  (i want my coffee cup filling up at least 5 times) however I never tip my hairdresser, delivery driver or taxi driver.
Apart from being miserable sods most of the time they're on a decent earner.

Waiter / Waitresses at a cafe or restaurant, sure if they've been smiley or friendly or I can imagine being balls deep in her.

I worked in a bar when younger and made £20 or £30 on busy nights  in tips just from smiling at customers and having and bit of banter which is just my natural personality. Guys always tipped more (keep the change) then girls.

You're a bigger fool than you're showing yourself to be on here then.

Edit

Just shows the difference in our outlooks, I was thinking on the lines of conveyancing during a house purchase and you think criminal activities.  :unknown:

I tip people, that work on a low income.  :hi:
Tipping a hooker, who earns about a days wage in a hour, is ridiculous

Offline Springoid

I always give them the tip at least.....

Offline montycat

I've only ever tipped a WG once, quite a while ago.

I have been to the States quite a few times though. The tipping culture there is mind-blowing if you're not used to it. Tipping at breakfast was the weirdest thing.
Banned reason: Discussing negative review with SP and contradicting on her behalf.

I tipped some kid who delivered my 2am Deliveroo yesterday £10.. told him to top his fuel up next time he gets more gas. Probably the only time I tip tbh , this kid deserved it and working hard for his money. Was hesitant on taking the money as well so you know it meant a lot to him.

Probably the only rare occasions I like to tip

Tip an SP - never ! FFS a lot of them earn more in three 1 hour bookings than a FT employee working in various roles

I do tip my barber, and also restaurant staff if the food & service is good.

Have to admit to also giving tips to taxi drivers (but only when I'm pissed  :sarcastic:)

Offline Glasgow28

Tip a WG that's on £120 an hour minimum? No chance!

Bar staff or restaurant workers etc on crap wages yes if they are working hard and doing their best they deserve it and probably need it.

I saw a tart a few years ago that charged £95 p/h and didnt feel it was appropriate to ask for a measley £5 in change.

Just before xmas i took my regular a bottle of vodka as a gift but we get on well and it was more of a personal gesture rather than a service tip.

That kind of stuff bothers me as reckon she could make an extra £100 a week from those easy 5ers. I'd take £95 with me as a point!

I have had this experince in the past.
I make sure, that I have a spare 5 pounds now, so I pay the right amount, instead of 5 pounds more.
I very much doubt, she would let you off with 5 pounds less.
The RBS banks, cashpoints have 5 pound notes in them.
