Bit of a complicated story and I don't know half of it but can speak of my personal experience with the place.
As a brothel it's absolutely fine, not perfect, as others have mentioned conveyor belt service and you're unlikely to get your full time but in my own experience I've had out of let's say 50 visits, 95% great visits and only 5% truly awful visits. It won't ever be as good as a good quality indie and I think they are overpriced, their old pricing was fair at 70 for 30 mins, 100 for 45 mins and 130 for 1 hour but now they're competing or overcharging compared to many excellent indies. When I started out punting I was very loyal as it was cheap, had a massive selection of hot girls and generally is super easy to book especially when compared with flaky indies. Nowadays after the price rises and loss of many girls over the pandemic I tend to only use it as a plan B place for which it is very good if you've been let down last minute.
The guy who owns it, Karl Evanson, is ex old bill and used to be a bit of a twat according to many of the girls I've spoken with who work their or have worked there but they have been telling me he's far better to them than he used to be, seems to have mellowed out. From what I understand the reason HOD attracts ire from the older members here is apparently he and his ex-wife used to try and use this place as basically advertising board for HOD and got very cross when the mods sniffed them out and told them to sling their hook.....multiple times. I believe there have also been other incidents of 'the Divines'airing their dirty laundry on here and the 'Olga incident' which I'm sure an older member can fill us in on.
I believe they also used to try and bribe members on here with free bookings or discounts in exchange for glowing reviews.
Overall it-s a decent brothel and I like it as its easy to secure a booking and their roster of girls is slowly building back up. Gemma is excellent if you're looking for a recommendation btw. Main negatives are they are overpriced and conveyor belt service though on that ymmv and sometimes I've gone well over a bookings time.
