Call me a cynic, but I think the glory days of punting are over. Actually I'd go further than that and say that punting in the UK is on its death bed.

With covid-19 possibly being here for ever, and it becomes more relevant in the winter, punting could become more of a seasonal thing.  We know form experience, the number of new cases dramatically drops during the summer months, but for ever what reason, we cant say.  Could be in the summer the virus dosnt spread quickly, or the public are doing as there told

So could we end up looking at summer punts, where there is a lesser risk of getting covid-19, compared to winter time

Girls can make good money from Onlyfans and camming. That was the case last few years anyway, but Covid has accelerated it.
The glory days of punting are long gone.  The best times were when Poland joined the EU, which more or less coincided with the rise of the internet agencies.  We had dozens of Polish hotties available at what now seems ridiculously cheap rates.  it has been a slow decline ever since.  But still nowhere near as bad as what went before - the days of contact magazines and cards in telephone boxes leading you to some most unappealling prossies I can remember.

Girls have always been able to make money from non-escorting modes, such as films, magazines and the like.  The rise of internet porn did nothing to kill off punting - if anything, I would say it increased it.  If you are only after a P&D, then something like Onlyfans and camming might satisfy you.   But they leave me cold - they are nothing like the experience of a real woman sensuously running her fingernails over you, or sensuously massaging hot oil on you.  And as long as there is a market for the real thing, there will be women ready to make money from that market.

I got into punting not that long after the 'accession countries' joined in 2004, there were 'saunas' galore and often eight or so lovelies from across the EU in them.  When the financial crisis happened I thought it would be the end of punting as I knew it, not least as local newspapers ads were full of £30 P&D joints (I was punting several times a week!) Then I discovered the Chinese shops, which was a new era for me.

I think with COVID, should a vaccine come along, it will make things easier. But, I think if they look at developing inhibitors, then if they can stop the symptoms, and hopefully allow the body to develop antibodies, could be better for better for punting because with an inhibitor, if you do catch it, your unliekely to die from it (or even feel unwell).

As for onlyfans, from what I have heard most of it is a rip-off and many are more disappointed than happy... But isn't it a bit like the porn industry.. the WG makes a vid, gets paid for it, but still punts for more money.. I can't see that changing. A lot of those on onlyfans are probably not the type to punt, anyway.

Reminds me,when the COVID thing is safe, LatexLara is on my HL...  (edit) But sge was onb my too expensive list.. After this long break, there is none too expensive (just those that aren't good enough for the money they ask).

I'm at the very top of the government's list to get the vaccine.
I was musing whether if I might be the first to get on a distant beach for a well-earned break, but reading this makes me wonder if I could be the first to bang the cream of the WGs.
Which might lead some people to speculate if you will produce a second review. :hi:

I do not really think there is any problem, there will always be WGs, the fact of what these girls do with their body is not going to be put off by C-19. I know of a few WG who are still working through this lockdown.
Some guy will want to have a fuck even during the pandemic - and why not

Interesting to look back at some of the prediftions made in March and April.

Predictions that significant numbers of WGs would stop working until a vaccine available.  A couple of my favourites are doing so, but there are no shortage of alternatives, even during this second lockdown.

Predictions of financial apocalypse have also failed to come to pass.  Something on the radio a couple of days ago that even if the chancellor borrowed as much again, it would only amount to a fraction of a percent of GDP if paid off over 25 years.

Predictions that punting costs would substantially increase are more interesting.  I am staggered by how much the London agencies are now asking.  Not too long ago, £150 an hour was the norm, that had gone up to £200 before covid hit, but now it seems to be creeping up to £250.  But outside London, I have not noticed any significant increase.  Certainly prices don't seem to be going down, as those who were predicting economic apocalypse were suggesting.
