You go for the tests and receive the certificate 7 to 10 days later. The Certificate claims that AT THE TIME OF THE TEST you were clear of STIs. It doesn't confirm you are clear when you get the certificate or in the 28 day window Garly G is willing to consider having unprotected sex with a punter.
