Suckered by an escort. Help please!

Hi all,

I met an escort in London a few weeks back via a Reverse Booking in AW. Went really well, had lots of fun and she was a really nice person. Agreed to book her again in a few months, all chatty and friendly on WhatsApp etc. She's got reviews on here as well.

However... She then contacted me a couple of weeks later giving me a sob story about stuff, how she needed to cover some house costs that cropped up etc, and was asking me if I could pay in advance for the next session. Like an utter tool, I agreed (after getting clarification), and sent the money. She got it, and we booked a session the following week so I paid for a hotel as well.

Checked all was OK on WhatsApp with her, and she was seemingly up for it beforehand. Went silent a couple of days before, so I chase her the morning of the booking, and she finally replies with a screenshot of an appointment at a GUM clinic as her latest test came back positive. She admitted she was in two minds to tell me. This leads me on to panicking, and getting myself down for a test as well (she tells me five days later she has chlamydia. Thankfully, I was clear).

She's now not responsive to messages around booking another date (I also lost money on the hotel), so I'm just feeling like a mug. Want to give her a chance to do the right thing and give me the money back before I name and shame on here and the reverse booking, but pretty sure that won't happen....

Any ideas around what I could do next?

So remove the bit about her confirming - and I have the proof - she has/had an STI and then name her?

Do it in the form of a review, include the later possible scam but omit any reference to the STI. Don't refer to this post and l can't see that you would be breaking any rules. Plus it would take care of you review duck to date?

I hate to sound like a lawyer but if he has proof, the message from her, he is not making an allegation he is informing us of a confession by a WG. Of course if he cannot provide it then it is just an allegation and I agree with you.

But have you got proof she has an STI or do you just have a screenshot of a message telling her she has a positive result however the message could have come from anywhere or could have been altered etc

Extremely unfortunate (or convenient) timing though, the fact she has gone quiet is surely a clue and if she doesn't deliver on the booking then you need to name and shame with a Negative review.
One final question though, how confident are you about booking another hotel room

It's not a judgement, it's a direct copy and paste of the rule Admin has in place.

As SB says the link is at the bottom of every page and there's also a link in the 'Admin Note' currently at the bottom of every page.

Thanks for the feedback all.

I've sent her a final message asking for the money back, so at least I can say I tried. If nothing comes of that by Monday, I'll post a negative review here and in the AW reverse booking that is still awaiting review.

(As for the assumption I'm making this up because I've just joined before posting this - is it not possible I joined in order to post this question and get some feedback and advice from people more aligned with issues of this nature...? I know, it's a stretch of the imagination right...?)
